At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.
You must unlearn this.
You must accept that all people will be annoying at some point or another in their lives, maybe all of their lives, and that this is okay. It is okay for strangers on the bus, it is okay for children in the grocery store, it is okay for people on social media, and it is okay for you.
If you ever want to truly love your fellow humans, if you ever want to truly love yourself, you must have forgiveness for being annoying.

#my friends at me when i used to go to the library every day for months during my 2nd level prep#i dont do well with breaks. they get me out of the zone terribly and getting back in is so tiresome and takes so much time/effort#but my friends there made me take breaks any way 😂😊#i miss those times#so much#im trying to get used to taking breaks where it works for me productively but it just doesnt#im still not there#but i want to be#i try pomodoro but it strains my mind

Go read an old fic.
There's such recency bias in fandom. As an author you post something, get a few reactions, and then it goes off into the bin. As a reader you check the tags, see what's new, and move on. But a lot of old stuff is really good. It's just sitting there, gathering dust, waiting for someone to take a peek.
