Winter with the Haikyuu Boys

Playing in the snow: NOYA, Iwa, Hinata, BOKUTO, Tendou, Yamaguchi, Tanaka, Mattsun

Looking out the window of your shared room one December morning and seeing snow. Waking him up gently and telling him that it’s snowing, he wakes up to your smiling face at the sight of the snow which gives him all the warmth he needs to start the day. You spend some time in the snow you make snow angels, snowmen, and even have a little snowball fight. With worthy bets on the snowball fight of course.

Last minute Christmas shopping: Semi, ATSUMU, Tskuishima, Goshiki, SUGAWARA, Kenma, Suna

Rushing around the store regretting not going sooner, at least they left you with some good deals though. Picking random items up and asking if ______ would like it, which prompts laughter from the both of you. Eventually finding your gifts and vowing to either shop online, or shop sooner. It was a fun adventure neither of you will forget though.

Cuddling on the couch with hot cocoa: Oikawa, DAICHI, Osamu, Asahi, Kita, Aran, AKAASHI, KAGEYAMA, Kuroo

Ranting about your days while on the couch wearing his hoodie and some fuzzy socks to keep you warm, cradling a cup of hot cocoa in your hands. Soon the ranting session turns into light-hearted laughs jokes about the upcoming holiday season, mentions of old friends, and seeing them again for the holidays. He jokingly tells you “All I want for Christmas is all the clothes you borrowed from me back.” To which you pretend not to hear and swiftly change the subject leaving him chuckling.

Maybe you would play games like Mario Kart, and Smash Bros all night long. It may result in some petty arguments here, and maybe someone being banished to the couch for the night.

Casual: Ushijima, Asahi, Suga, Osamu, Kita, Akaashi, Sakusa, Yamaguchi

Cute little casual games like Animal crossing, or Stardew valley, where you would work together to get things done, maybe little co-op play here and there. Or maybe a game liked overcooked, the night filled with laughter and your voices yelling at one another.

Adventure: Daichi, Bokuto, Mattsun, Kenma, Hinata, Tendou, Aran, Oikawa, Kuroo

Playing side by side and seeing who could get to the end first, completing small side quests along the way and switching consoles if the other needs help passing a stage. Maybe a game within the Legend of Zelda series, playing against one another to play the game to completion.

› He’s probably told you how the team was going to nationals a few times

› And not in a “We’re going to nationals!” No no he was genuinely excited about it

› You went and told him that you were comin about thirty minutes before

› He probably didn’t notice you at first just like he didn’t notice Tashiro and Kurokawa in the stands

› When you cheered for him usually Suga noticed it and decided to tease him later for it

› When Daichi noticed you during a game the game it was probably when he ran over to chase a ball he noticed you from the corner of his eye

› He was fighting a grin on his face while he ran after the ball

› If they got called into a timeout and he noticed you in the crowd he would flash you a smile before returning to the court

› Afterwards he got teased a lot by Suga but he was happy that you came to his games

› Y’all cuddled in the inn after the games

ATSUMU

› He’s mentioned nationals a couple of times actually

› He was pumped and ready for the games, he asked you if you were gonna show up about 2-4 times

› When he heard you cheering his name among the other students he got really happy that you came

› Above all the people shouting his name, he heard your voice the loudest

› He wasn’t even trying to his smile all that well

› Osamu totally made fun of him for it and told him to focus on the match

› You most definitely laughed at the girls when he called them pigs😗

› After most serves if he was able to he would flash you a little smile

›He was pumped that you came to watch him at nationals, for him you showing up to the national game was on a different scale

› When they finished up the match he was one of the first to leave so he could look for you

› He found you in the hallway and he hugged you tight, he thanked you for coming to the national game and kissed your temple

HINATA

› He’s been talkin about nationals for agesss

› He was so excited for them he was always askin you if you would go when he mentioned nationals

› When you showed up to the stadium it was a huge burst of confidence for him

› He noticed you cheering in the stands fairly quickly which caused him to grin a bunch during the game

› You usually came to his games but to him it just felt different at nationals

› Yea he was nervous but he was excited and ready to go

› If he ever felt like he was in over his head during the game or while he was on the sidelines he just took a deep breath a focused on your voice

›After the game he found you and started to blabbering on about the game and the huge stadium they were in

›He asked you if you saw his playes which was followed by Kageyama calling him a dumbass

› He hugged you really tight and said he was happy that you came to his game, he told you about the court and how it was very big and felt different

› He grabbed your hand and went looking for his t-shirt afterwards or to explore around some more
