What kind of journey will my 30's be? Jimin wondered out loud.

What will the lesson that I take away from this period in my life be? What path will I set out upon in order to grow as a person? Jimin is looking ahead at what's to come, already preparing himself as he is counting down the days to his re-release into society as a civilian, free from this particular obligation.

He's filled with longing for a future he can almost taste. Imagine, like being a young man again, about to embark upon a new adventure. Yet this time, you know the ship you're sailing on. You know that part, what's left uncertain is the sea you'll be navigating.

From what we've heard from them, it's something him and Jungkook have been doing together. This meandering through their wildest imaginations. Looking ahead, imagining they can grab that which is at fingertips reach. Because the stagnant reality of lying in wait needs to end. That is not who they are as people. They are both big dreamers. They're like flowerbuds, waiting to burst at the first signs of spring. To bloom, yet again, into another version of themselves.

Jimin has always been on an upward trajectory, and he has been working hard at accepting himself and his little quirks. Those things set him apart from everyone else, and that's not even mentioning his incredible body control and vocal tone and technique. Like, my man STACKED to the brim with talent. The fact that he just in the last two years decided he needed to revisit his vocal abilities in order to secure his longevity on a live stage ALONE tells you that he is rearing up to go big once he comes out of the military. He is even now working hard to reach a place where he can jump in as soon as his hair grows out (or a hairpiece is attached 👀) because we know this man hates his buzzcut. The only thing holding him back is himself. Not his label nor the company. If anything, I'm sure someone wanted him to peak sooner, to hit that stride a little steeper, but people close to him, the ones who really have his back, protected him. They gave him the confidence to say no. To make music that feels true to himself. That he worked incredibly hard for. Face and Muse are proof of the level his artistry can reach as a musician. He really said:

'I need to be seen for who I really am.' Not your projection of me.

I'm telling you Jimin is the absolute ace because he himself doesn’t know what's about to happen, or if he does, he doesn’t want to let it cloud his mind because that's when the demons start playing their tune. When the ugly voices take center stage. So I'm glad he basically spent two years with his nr. 1 fan. Someone who isn’t afraid or too gentle with him. Who can give Jimin a critique from an artist's standpoint. Someone who wants the best for Jimin while also staying hungry for his own meal! Because we certainly don't talk enough about their competitive spirits. Jikook share that hunger. It's truly something they bonded over years ago. They rile each other up to no end!

When they dare to dream aloud, and they bring us into that process, that's the kind of positivity that we all need right now.

I've been seeing so many people dissecting Jikook's relationship based on the idea that they "struggled to keep in touch" during their solo activities, and I don't understand why people look so much into this.

I do think that they probably did not see each other quite as much during that period, but I think the premise that they didn't see each other at all is misguided.

Jikook have never, ever been fully open with us about the extent of their relationship and how often they are together (for obvious reasons). I'm fact, they have a vested interest in appearing less close than they actually are to a certain extent. There have been many examples of them having been together at certain moments off cam, only to hide, skirt around, or allude to it in convos while filming.

I personally do not believe they were as distant as they let on/or some shippers are suggesting during their solo eras. Jungkook "randomly" showing up at Jimin's practice and recording "Letter" with him both suggest they were in touch and planning things together. Finally, the fact that they enlisted together rather than spend a year and a half apart suggests that extended periods of time apart are a no-go for them.

I find it much more likely that Jikook were simply laying low during their solo period, as not to appear like they spend a ton of time together compared to the other members during their solo era so that filming a show together and enlisting together would not set off alarm bells.

The reason they are much more open about the time they spend with other people is because they have nothing to hide with those people. I just don't understand how we can all watch them enlist together as not to be separated, and truly think they were ever closer to anyone else other than each other.

Jikook are never going to give us a blow by blow of how much time they spend together and it's pointless to assume that the picture they paint in lives and official content is the complete picture.
