i just want to talk about this. in the first episode, after ray asks his friends ‘let’s drink more’ they immediately turn him down, saying he shouldn’t,

because:

‘you’re drunk enough’

‘you’re lightweight’

and then calling him a burden - which leads him to leave the table. after he leaves, top suggests that they ‘drink more’ (the exact same thing ray said) and everyone immediately agrees.

in episode 10, ray screams at sand for ‘selling liquor’ whilst trying to get him to stop. which then leads to sand smashing the bottles.

my point is that a lot of people have said that ‘his friends gave up on ray because he refused to stop, get help - he was a burden.’ but the thing is, that instead of trying to encourage ray to go out with them, away from alcohol, they still went out to drink, with or without him. therefore, why should he have stopped? if everyone around him is doing the same, it’s normal for them - so it’s normal to him.

I have not talked about it but I will never be over Akkayan’s eye fucking // silent communication in this scene. It’s the explosive conclusion of what they did in the show but with the playfulness of people who’ve smashed now. A LOT. Firstkhao just hands off the handlebars acting.AYAN SAID “SO GOOD” I said WE KNOW.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH

Moonlight Chicken just ended and i can't deal with it.

So i cried, not today no today i laughed and squicked mainly. But yesterday or last week, the last four weeks of Moonlight Chicken were gut wrenching sadness. And just two weeks ago I posted a Post saying I was ready to throw hands if Li Ming and Heart don't get a happy ending. I was willing to trait everybody else's happiness to make sure the babies are happy. But now I think I can't stay with that. but more on that later.

So I saw a very good post about people not being able to really care for JimWen because they can't relate to them. And I agree, I am , let's say, around 10 years younger than them. I didn't have to deal with the struggles they had to deal with yet, they feel genuine and tragic to me, but not relatable. This is in no way meant to discredit Earth or Mix Acting, they were really good in this, I could feel especially Jims Hurt and anger a lot. But what I am trying to say is I don't feel like I am able to say something useful about their Relationship or characters because I don't know what I would do in their situation, I will leave that to people who can. moving on.

LiMingHeart

 LiMingHeart the Heart and Light of this show, especially in the first seven episodes they were the light to everybody else's darkness.They of course both had their on set of problems and struggles do deal with, but between Li Ming feeling misunderstood and Heart not feeling heard at all, whenever they were together they were shining, loving and supporting one another. I would say as a couple i can relate to them the most, (alan is also a strong contender here but we talk about him later) I am just like one and a half years older then someone who is just finishing highschool, and i had to explain to my parents that i have no idea what i wanna do after school, and coming from an academic household that is not what they wanna hear. me going to university was always a given to them. Li Ming's main conflict with Jim revolves around a similar situation. I can feel how misunderstood he feels, especially because Fourth is an exceptional young actor, he is so good at conveying his feelings through his eyes. I am baffled every time. 

And Heart with his parents just breaks my heart every time. The way they needed some eighteen year old kid , come in and show them how to love their son is so sad. But we love to see some character development and how in the end they not only learned sign language for him, but allowed him to go to the states with Li Ming.Gemini as Heart was fantastic too, the boy had three lines in this show, so his lines were his facial expression, the way heart signed (because we didn't get subtitles for what he said either) and his body language. And Gemini made you feel it all, the happiness with Li Ming, or the anger and frustration at his parents for not trying to learn for him.  I loved their story and the way they discovered first love between them, and as I said I was ready to let everybody else suffer to make sure they stay happy…. but then someone just went straight into my heart.

AlanGaipa

Alan just struck a chord with me. Not two Weeks ago I got out of a four year Relationship my Partner ended (for me) out of nowhere and I still have him in my life, because we have the same friend circle and we don't want to break it because of our breakup. So yeah how do you deal with your partner still being there but not really being there. So from the moment we got introduced to AlanWens story I felt with him, yes he had no right to act like Wen cheated, which he didn't, but Wen didn't really help the situation by continuing to sleep with someone who was obviously desperately trying to hold on to him. But somewhere along the story I just wanted something bright in Alan's life. not just for him, but for me , someone to help us heal. And who better than a boy who has so much love to give, who needs someone that recognizes that love and is willing to give just as much love back to him. Because we know Alan gives so much to his Boyfriend, maybe a bit too much for Wen but I am sure Gaipa can take it, and respond with the same amount.

This is also very much swayed by my love for FirstKhao and everything they do. Khao is such a talented actor when it comes to his emotions and his feelings. It is the first time I cried for a TV series in my life, when I saw him breaking down in the hospital after his mother died. 

And the way First played Alan gave me the Feeling of looking in an emotional mirror, because yes i know what he feels like and how hard it is to let go of five years of love.

But in the end we got crumbs of what their flirting and future might look like and it was enough for me to fall in love with them and feel like Alan will for sure find Happiness in him and maybe just maybe a Geipa will walk into my life too. 

At first i thought for sure they wouldn't give Gaipa and Alan a story, i was sure they would just go off to heal on their own, because we had nothing after Episode 6 and normally the show takes time to develop something as big as a Relationship, but maybe that's what they tried to tell us, not every Happiness takes as long as Jim and Wen, maybe you can meet the cute chicken seller boy, get his number, and ask him on a date in a couple of days. 

Something i thought after watching yesterdays and todays Episode was that they put it in because it is FirstKhao we are talking about, their friendship and especially their success as a couple, but that is not true, they filmed Moonlight chicken while the Eclipse Premiered, before First and Khao became the “Powercouple” they are today. Like they let the scene in where First cried when Khao sang, because that is what it was, because it was not in the script, First is just a huge softie for Khao.So I am even happier about the fact that in the end even both people that were left behind by Jim and Wen found happiness in each other.

Something Else i wanted to add was a very interesting post about the color coding of the show. Alan is seen in dark and Blue colors, taking it with him wherever he goes and even putting it on other people, it shows his sadness and loneliness even more, but the moment he meets Gaipa at the Funeral he starts to glow golden like the rest of the characters in love.

And as he leaves Gaipa and the Funeral and goes to leave it comes back, we then again see him in yellow and gold again with Gaipa at the bank and the restaurant, because Gaipa brings the light slowly back in his dark world. 

Conclusion:

Honestly 10/10 would recommend, for everybody, not only BL or Drama Fans, just everybody, i am probably gonna force it on one of my movie nerd friends, just because of the Filmography and the superb acting in this series

By god do I just need to scream into the ether about the Heart and co. confrontation scene.

First, the tension, incredible. Gemini and Fourth are phenomenal actors, Heart and Li Ming know they are walking in to a very emotionally fraught situation and their hesitation is palpable.

It's scene breakdown time babyyyy! Let's start from the beginning

For a boy who admitted last episode that he has no idea what he is doing, he sure keeps doing things right. He's letting Heart know he's going to talk. Now, granted I don't know what he is saying here precisely if he is just simply saying "I'm going to talk for us/first", "I'll interpret," or if he's saying "I'm going to talk?", I don't think his face moves in any way that would imply a question, but his face is partially obscured. Either way he is at the very least keeping Heart in the know, and at the most asking for Heart's explicit consent to lead this conversation. You can't see it from pictures, but I appreciate the fact that before they cut back to the wide shot, Heart nods, so we as an audience, and Li Ming as the speaker here knows that Heart is okay with the power dynamics at play, with Li Ming talking for both of them.

It's a blink and you'll miss it moment, thankfully I'm obsessed with this scene and therefore have been looping it endlessly, but I feel compelled to point out the way eye contact in this moment goes a long way in conveying how Heart's Mom and Li Ming view Heart. When Heart's mother points to her son she doesn't even look at him. The most she does is cast a downward glance at his bandage, and that's before she even points. And you can argue all you want that she doesn't look at him because she's specifically talking to and addressing Li Ming. But I call bullshit on that because Li Ming is specifically talking to and addressing Heart's mother, and he's looking straight in to Heart's eyes when he refers to and gestures towards Heart. I'm sure that both of these characters believe they love and care about Heart, but of these two characters which one actually recognizes Heart's personhood?

But uh oh! Li Ming stood up for himself and for Heart, and talked back to not just an adult, but a powerful adult. And now she's mentioning past debts, and now there will be more to pay as a result. And Li Ming can only work so much with school and life and everything. He clearly doesn't know what he's getting himself in to, or what he has gotten himself in to. Li Ming and Heart's Mom are both getting angry, tensions are rising, something needs to happen to de-escalate the situation or this might go wrong. Uncle Jim absolutely must intervene (I hope you can hear the sarcasm in my voice). Interesting note: Guess who else doesn't look at their child when making a decision for them. Jim does look at Li Ming directly after this though, but it's to ask him why he did it. It's to place the blame for the accident on Li Ming. "You Li Ming, why did you do it?" "Heart asked me to." "Stop saying that."

Jim is scared, Li Ming is pissed. "He was bored at home" "I said stop!" Jim is used to the way powerful and wealthy people can control and punish the poor. Jim and Li Ming have had conversations before that indicate this very mindset. Jim has mentioned power to Li Ming before and Li Ming's response has always been "what, so we just let them?" "He's a police officer so he can just do anything he wants to us?" to a young adult like Li Ming, this is an absurdity, to an older man like Jim, this is a reality. "he can just do anything he wants to us?" the answer is yes. Which is why Jim is so desperate to get Li Ming to stop talking here. But it just serves as a reminder to Li Ming that Jim thinks he's a child, and that he needs all his battles fought for him. If Li Ming doesn't keep pushing, nothing is going to change (social and political commentary anyone?)

"There you go again," Heart's mother says, and this is Li Ming's initial reaction. This moment of annoyance and anger that this woman who doesn't even know him is once again accusing him of something he didn't do. This woman who is pointing once again to her son without even a glance in his direction "You know that he's mute, so you can say whatever you want?" First of all, even people who are mute have ways to communicate, so it's not like even if he was mute Heart would be helpless. Hell, even if Heart was mute he still has fucking sign language.

The face of a woman who was, in fact, not aware that deaf people dislike being called mute.

GUESS WHO FINALLY LOOKS AT HER SON AFTER THAT!!!! Please please if the writers are kind and merciful, this will be the point in the show where Heart's mother does so deep deep introspection and realizes how much she has fucked up. "He's just deaf," Li Ming says, loudly, and he steps forward, to try to engage Heart's mom in further conversation, in more dialogue. And what does Jim do? Pulls him back, takes him off his even footing "I said stop,"

The face of a man who is very scared for the trouble his nephew might be getting himself in to, and the face of his nephew who is very disappointed that his uncle keeps not only backing down, but forcing him to back down as well. Who keeps asking him, in these small ways to lie instead of tell the truth. To remain quiet, to take the blame, to stick to the status quo.

And then the part I hate (emotionally) begins. Heart asks Li Ming to tell him what they're saying. And I hate it because Heart's parents refusing to learn sign language does not only hurt Heart but it hurts everyone around him, themselves included. But specifically here, it hurts Li Ming, because he has to be the one to look Heart in the face and repeat the words his mother said, knowing that to do so will hurt Heart. Knowing that he has to be the one to hurt Heart.

And this moment is also a great reminder for the audience as well that no one else knowing sign language creates really uncomfortable power dynamics between the person who is able to interpret and the Deaf person. Because Li Ming is hesitant to repeat it. Heart has to repeatedly grab his arm, repeatedly ask Li Ming to tell him what was said. Li Ming has absolute power over Heart right now, to refuse to say it, or to flat out lie. He doesn't, but it also should not be Li Ming's decision whether or not Heart knows, accurately, what was said. Even after we see it in his face that Li Ming agrees to translate, he still hesitates for a few seconds to move, to reach for the notepad, to have to write it down.

And once he writes it down, Li Ming's eyes do not leave Heart. He is honed in on Heart, on Heart's face, on his shoulders, hell even on the back of his head until Heart asks him to translate. And god as much as I hate this moment in the scene for the pain that it causes Li Ming, I hate it even more for the pain that it causes Heart.

He is fucking livid. Rightfully so, because HE'S NOT FUCKING MUTE, HE'S HAD LANGUAGE THIS ENTIRE GODDAMN TIME. He just wants to live his life like everyone else AND HE HAS TO TELL HIS PARENT'S THAT USING SOMEONE ELSE'S VOICE. Because they have refused to use his own. GOD. I'll be surprised if anyone makes it this far down in the post but I just...AHHHH I have no coherent thoughts about this moment, I just....Heart's parents do fucking better. Damn. And the worst part of this scene is yet to come because his Mom tries for like 0.2 seconds, but it looks like she's going to start signing something and Heart just looks SO surprised.

He's so focused on it, he's paying so much attention to it. Is this it? Is this the moment he finds out that his mother has actually been trying? That she has learned and is ready to start using sign language with him? To talk to him, to understand him?

No.

She can't do it. She doesn't know how to. And it's just..it's so easy to see how much hope he had for just a second, how much that one millisecond of effort obliterated all the logic in his head that told him they didn't know it, they didn't care. And how quickly that disappointed anger snaps right back in to place. So Heart starts talking, in sign language, like he has been able to do for years, and he speaks his mind, and his mother still can't understand him. And we see the same dynamic here as with the "mute" comment. Heart's Mom wants Li Ming to translate, Heart wants Li Ming to translate, Li Ming knows how hurt Heart is, and yeah, probably some of his hesitation in voicing what Heart said is because he knows what Heart said will hurt her. But more so because I think it hurts Li Ming to know how much pain Heart is in.

God, poor Heart, literally having to beg to be heard.

"He said you are ashamed of him being deaf,"

His mother shakes her head and says "Heart, I'm sorry. I don't know what to say, dear," and therein lies the problem. She doesn't know what to say, she never has. She has never bothered to learn how to communicate with him since he went deaf. She has kept him locked away. And it doesn't matter if she thinks she did that to keep him safe, Heart feels like he's being hidden away. And she doesn't say "No. No I'm not ashamed. I have never been ashamed." she doesn't know what to say. Because she can't say that. She can't deny that, and it just confirmed everything that Heart has known. So he leaves, because that's too much to handle.

Bullshit 'he'll be fine, honey'. Your fucking son just told you that you never bothered to learn sign language in THREE FUCKING YEARS, and stormed away after admitting that he feels like you are ashamed of him, and you think no need to go after him, he'll be fine??? Fuck you. ACAB.

No. I didn't think so.

I don't really feel like I need to say much about this last shot. It stands on its own so strongly. Mirrors reflecting back, Heart and Li Ming only ever being able to see each other, to be seen by each other. Warm light at Heart's back, Li Ming in front of him, sandwiched between warmth in all of that blue, isolating coldness. All that evidence of how much time and the energy Heart has spent learning sign language. I don't know what the post-its say, I don't know that I want to know.

I don't know if they are notes Heart has written to himself when he was learning, and this is just what remains of his effort. Honestly I hope it's that, because if it is what I think it is, general, every day responses that he might have to give in reply to his parents that he can just pull off his wall and return, that is so much fucking worse. Because then its just the evidence of all the effort Heart has put in to communicate with his parents on their level when they have not put in the same effort to communicate on his. Even if it's something cute, even if it's all the notes that he and Li Ming have passed back and forth to each other over the last few months, serving as a reminder that someone cares, you still are left with the heartbreaking shot of two young men, desperate to be understood by their families, only having each other to hold on to, surrounded by reminders that they are the only two people that can understand each other. No matter how hard they try.

Moonlight Chicken Episode 4

I am halfway into Episode four and my heart is already done, the happiness when ever I see Heart and Li Ming together and the absolut tragedy that is Wen and Alan’s Relationship. Help me

Add2: fuck the most redeeming thing about todays episode is that’s it is the Thursday one aka we get my school president tomorrow and if I don’t get some happy geminifourth there I don’t know what to do.

Happy Valentine

My first and longest Relationship of four years ended just two Weeks ago. and what do we do to get over men? we stan more men. So this post is me Fangirling BL Characters.

Note: i thought about if i wanted this to be actors or Characters, but in the end i dont know anything about the actors, so that would be purely phisical wich is kinda boring, so this will be abour Charakters more then actors ( but lets be honest sometimes the actor just plays into it, i am biased after all. With that being said: LETS GO.

Not on this list but very VERY cute:

I love Porchay, Tinn and Gun, and i know the actors are all 18 now, but when they where Filming they were all minors, so are thier caracters. It dosent matter to me that i am not much older. Tinn , Gun and Porchay go in the cute folder and stay there.

14. Hia YI (Cutie Pie)

I knew i would end up with one of the Hia-Squad Guys on this list. in thhe end it is Hia Yi, I personally find him a bit more atractive then Lian but it also breaks my heart how gultiy he still feels for Diaos accident. I think he cares so much that sometimes he doset know how to act what makes him distant, wich is the reason he only manages spot 14 on this list.

13. Leo (dont say no)

So first of: i was todays days old when i found out Leo und Fiat are a support ship in Tarntype but anyway ... i like leo, he is lovabale, cute, supportive and can man-handle you if wanted. What puts him a bit down for me is how just accepting he is sometimes, like have your own willpower if you just do what i say , i feel like i am taking advantage of him.

12. Price (Sky in your Mind)

I think i am kind of simmalr to Prince, we would get along, ofc i am not an aristocratic heir, but i am studying to be a teacher, i love being around kids and i have a more gentle personaltiy, this is also the reason he is not higher, i dont think we an really chalange each other to grow. but he is probably the most cute canditate on this list. and he will always be.

11. Kinn (KinnPorsche)

And here my bias beginns.... Kinn is probably the worst boyfriend on this list if you ... you know not wanna die. But he is my Bad Boy, the one who would burn the world for you, would kill for you, and still would be kind to you and you only. He is gonna leave his mafia Life behind for you (like he wanted to for Porsche) and GOD i am sorry but Mile is so fucking atractive its unfair.

10. Sky (Love in the Air)

If i wanna have sky on this list i gotta kind of disrigade his Trauma, cause i know i would not be able to take care of it at this point of my life, i dont know if i could handle it, like Pai can for example. But if we talk about his looks: i mean sky is very pretty and i find him very cute in casual cloth. His Personality also seems very entertaing to be around, he can be fun,cute, sassy and seems highly intelegint so you can have a good conversation with him. Sjy biggest "downside" is how he sometimes just forgets to communicate with people that care about him, wich could become pretty anoying i imagainen.

9. Akk (The Eclipse)

I will say this is the point where it just into who is my typ the most (maybe with one exeption), but that being said i love the eclipse and you will find Akks other half even higher on this list (just because he is more my type xD ) but akk is someone so incredibly sweet, he of course hase the brainwashing problem that has to be dealt with but as we can see as soon as his views get challenged he shows how much he cares, you can also see this side of him earlier with his friends, so i think Akk is just gonna get goofier with time.

8. Win (Between us)

I don’t really know why i need Win on this list, but everytime the WinTeam, Into you, edit comes into my YouTube autoplay i just fall in love with him again. Of course it has to do with the fact that bourn is a very handsaome guy, but also how deeply he cares, not only for Team but for his siblings, and friends. He ofcourse has his own problems, than again who doesn’t. Also i can’t explain why but i find swimming extremely attractive. Don’t judge me.

7. Sound (My School President)

So sound is just cute, i would like someone to court me so respectfully aggressiv like he is courting Win, sound seems distant at first when he joins the music club, but warms up to them and turns out to be kind of a goofball himself, he cares for them and even try’s (to no success) to hide his wrist injuries so to not worry them. I think by now my type kind of shows himself: i am really into men who can man-handle me but in a very respectful way if you know what i mean, and i feel like sounds just fits so perfectly on that description.

6. Gaipa (Moonlight Chicken)

So Gaipa is kind of cheating myself, because as already mentioned with Akk , Akks second half will be a bit later on this list, and big surprise if i like Aye , Gaipa is really not that far away, after all to no one’s surprise they look the same. But i could have done this with multiple people on this list so why Kaipa? I just think the way Gaipa showed his love for Jim is so lovely to me. His food is his love language and i feel like he is getting absolutely robbed by Jim, He knows Gaipa likes him and just ignores him.He is kind, thoughtful and so desperately in love with Jim that i can’t do anything but feel sad for him being stuck in between where he is. When he loves you he gives you his all. I am interested to see how his story will progress and maybe he will be even higher by the end of Moonlight Chicken.

5. Pat (Bad Buddy)

So when i tried to decide if i want Pat or Pran higher on this list i had a rough time, I think my problem is that their characters shine in their Relationship with each other the most. So i think separating them takes away a lot of it. But we are not here for deep analysis we are here for my Valentines Shitpost. And i think Pat is fun entertaing and very Handsome, maybe to me even a bit more Handsome then Pran to me. But i think he would clash why harder in many regards. I would like to keep it lowkey and i need my life to be organised so i think Pat and i could have fun but we would clash and challenge each other a lot.

4.Pran (Bad Buddy)

As mentioned it was a close race for fourth between Pat and Pran and eventho i personally find Pat a bit more Handsome i think personality wise i would match better with Pran. I like his artsy side a lot, and my god i don’t know why i didn’t say that when talking about Sound earlier but my god Men that can play gituar and sing me to sleep just double their attractiveness. I also like how organised he likes to be and his a bit more (at least compared to Pat) slow and gentle personality. Pat is an all in lover wich i can respect but i have a bit more respect for Pran, he loved Pat for so long without knowing how to convey his Feelings or if they even ever had a chance, that man truly loves and if he does he does so for a long time.

Before my Top 3 : so those three i shuffled around like 5 times while making this list and i still feel like the list changes every other minute. But i love them all so much and god if one of them wants to become real and date me , hit me up

3. Parpai (Love in the Air)

Okay so to start this of: i think Fort ( or parpai, take it as you want) is incredibly attractive. I started watching BL cause i saw a picture of him in the Viki Preview of Love in the Air. That is also one of the reasons Parpai is so high on this list, he just holds a special place in my heart. But also if you ignore his first not so respectful aggressiv courting at the beginning you get a very green flag. He cares and communicates so much, he makes sure his partner knows he is there for him and he sugar baby’s him (that is not needed tho) also something i said in my love in the air review is that before i saw Fort i never understood what it means when people say someone has gentle eyes but god damit i can see it with Fort. Everytime he looks at anything really he just seems like he could calm my worst moods pretty easy, if you wanted more what i like about Parpai i could write down Skys notebook here but you can just watch Ep.12 again and you will know. Parpai will be always one of my favourite characters.

2. Kim (KinnPorsche)

Kim is just as Kinn ealier Probably not a really good Option when looking for someone to date. His family just is a major Problem. He knows that too, just look at his broken Love for Porschay. But he is in anyway the Softer version of Kim. Yes he is in a very Dangerous Family but he is way less involved, He would also Kill and Burn the world for you but i feel like Kinn would burn it down first and then look for you and Kim would look first. And i said it before and i will say it again: MY GOD i love my sining guitar Players. The softness with wich Kim looks at Porchay makes my Butterflies have a dance party every time. Breaking my Character only Rule here the most i also gotta say that Jeff Satur is to me one of the most Attractive People out there. And if he is actually like he is portrait in Interviews and lives i would be super down to date someone like him. I fell so hard when he said his pet peeve are bully’s. It sounds so standard but most people have why more trivial things as pet peeves and bully’s i think is an incredibly sweet answer. Also the way and the patience with wich he takes care of the so much younger Barcode shows how lovable he is. BUT going back to Kim even tho dating Kim would never be free of danger i think he would do EVERYTHING to keep you out of it. because he loves you.

1. Aye (The Eclipse)

We had Khao on this list ealier where i didn’t say it but i think it is pretty clear that i think he is super Pretty and Handsome. He wouldn’t make the list twice if i didn’t think so. But why is does Aye win the Gold Medal and Kaipa doesn’t? First of i Personally think no one on this list full files Respectfully Man-Handling you the way Aye does. He is just so sweet, playful but sure of his beliefs and ideals, he is also willing to compromise to make his partner comfortable without letting them do the wrong thing. I can write a long list of words here what i like about Aye: Handsome, Funny, Kind, caring, Smart, Wilful, Loveable, committed. But i don’t feel like i do him justice, I can’t discribe what makes me love him so much. If you haven’t seen the Eclipse. Go watch it. Its really good. And Fall in love with Aye like i have. I also want to add that i think Khao does a great job acting, he is a very skilled emotional actor and makes you feel like you wanna cry when he is said but also makes you happy with him, wich makes Aye feel so alive.

Parings in BL

I was bored so i am gotta get myself hated real quick, i think !

So i didnt know what i wanna talk about, i mean i have a lot that i could talk about, shows first and foremost but something has been bothering me the last couple of days, and i dont know how this opinion and thoughts will play out on here, but i needed to get it out. I just recently started watching BL starting with the "best" like Bad Buddy and KinnPorsche. And as i watch more and more shows i noticed actors showing up together again and again, a great example with actors i love are "The Eclipse" main actors First and Khao. They have this year alone three shows together (to be fair i dont know or even think that/if they will be a couple in MLC) but i love them both and as far as i can tell they actually like working together (but you know then again ... they are professionals we are supposed to think that). They are not the only ones lot of Pairs get put in shows together again and again. I dont mind that either as long as the actors are happy, my problems starts when they are not, i can imagine that many actors want to branch out try different things, or even dont get along that well with their partner. what happens then. i for example see a lot of nasty comments about Barcode and People wanting Jeff Satur with his old Partner again. As soon as you debut in BL with a Partner you seem to be kinda stuck with them and the Fanservies surrounding you. I also saw People being mad at Bad Buddy actor Ohm for maybe having a Girlfriend. You know guys... its kind off his business. Let him be.

I feel like they should be able to do what ever they want, i dont mind pairs that like working together, working on Multiple projects together, (as i said i love Firstkhao) but i would understand if they wanna branch out and work with other people to, i feel like it would make the industry as a hole more flexible and probably healthier.

Meh! i feel like this post is more rambling then thought out but i needed to get this off my chest. Do with it as you will

BAD BUDDY AND MY FAVORITE SCENES

Part 1 -> 6 Episodes Today -> 6 Tomrrow

Everything I could say about Bad Buddy in a review has been said over and over again. When you have seen it you know it's good, if you haven't: go watch it. So instead of talking about the healthy Relationship or the great acting and script, I will do it a bit differently. I will go through the Episodes one by one and talk about my favorite moment or scene in that episode. Those won't always be the "best" scene of the episode, they will just be my Favorites. That also gives me a reason to rewatch the Series.

Episode 1

The music Room ->

It is not a very long scene, but in the first Episode when Pat is making sure Pran isn't walking into his Friends, he follows him into the music room, where Pran wants to get the Sign-Up sheet for the Freshy Day music contest. As they wait for the guy there to copy the sheet for them, they sit down and without words they start to kind of compete with Pat on the drums and Pran with a guitar. But as they compete, it kind of switches to them playing together without communicating it. I like the way it shows subliminally that they are used to playing with each other, something that gets way more important for them later in the series, and also how good they actually can work together.

Episode 2

The Flashback ->

In Episode 2 Pat, after feeling guilty and getting told off by his sister, goes by his old High school, he and Pran attended together. He remembers how he and Pram were both in the class Band and at the music contest at Christmas that year they performed a song together, the song later reveled is written by Pran from him, even tho Pat at that time was not aware of what exactly Pran was trying to tell him. Halfway through the song, they get interrupted by the appearance of Prans parents, the scene shifts, and we come to know that Pran will transfer to a different school, we see how Pat goes to look for him and just sees him going away with his parents. At the time of the scene is their past, Pran already had feelings for Pat. As expressed in his song for him and the fact that he seems Heartbroken when he needs to move. I personally think Pat on the other hand doesn't have Romantic Feelings for Pan at this point, I think he deeply cares about him and really doesn't want him to move. He also feels guilty that he is part of the reason Pran is moving. He might have subconscious feelings for Pran, but none he was aware of at that age. After remembering all this and especially the part that his High school friends called him out for beings "Unlucky Charm" he makes the decision to offer to move out.

Episode 3

The Corridor ->

Episode 3 Focus lies with their competition and the kind of joy they get out of competing with one another. And originally I wanted to talk about the Bus stop scene, a scene that is very famous outside the show, as director and cast love to talk about how Ohm continuously failed to look "friendly" at nanon at the time. But I was already writing it when watching the last few minutes of the episode and their interaction in the corridor. In the scene, Pran goes to thank Pat for helping out with the Bus stop by compelling his friends to work on it, so Architecture wouldn't get all the credit. Pran goes to thank him, but hovers in front of the door, not sure if or how he should approach it. The moment he decides to go for it, Pat, swings open the door, reveling that he waited to see if Pran would build up the courage to knock. At the end of their short conversation Pran builds up the courage to ask if Pat has eaten already, which he has, but before he lets Pran go he decides to give back the Guitar he kept for him since High school.(although he lies and says he tried to get rid of it). Pran is ecstatic seeing his Guitar again, and maybe even more happy Pat kept it for him. As Pran says he is sad that they can't compete in the Music contest against each other, Pat reveals that somehow they are allowed back on. Even tho he says he doesn't know why, a short Flashback shown Pat begging the Professor to let them in again. Hoping he gets to Compete with Pran. This entire scene feels like a first glimpse into what their Relationship later develops into, the fun, the game, the competition but most importantly the care and compassion for each other. Here it is at least from Prans side a very Friendly encounter, but all this is already there.

Episode 4

Hopeless ->

There can only be one scene this Episode, can't there? Even Pran actor nanon cried when watching this scene on release. In this scene Pat sleeps over at Prans place after leaving his keys in his Room, earlier that day there was a Rugby game between their faculties where Pran talked to Ink (Pats love interest) and found out that she doesn't like him in a romantic sense. Pat saw their conversation and know is not sure if Pran maybe likes Ink too. So as they are lying down together they start talking and Pran wants to ask Pat something, but before he can Pat asks if Pran likes Ink, when hearing this it feels to me like Pran loses the strength to ask Pat his question and just roles with the question and says that's what he wanted to ask. After a short discussion, who should answer first, they decided to do it at the same time. As they answer, Pat says "yes" and Pran "no". While Pat seems a bit relieved not to have to compete for Ink with Pran he goes on to ask Pran, who is to the viewer clearly in love with Pat, if he were Ink if he would like him. As he jokingly talks about how great he is, we can see the water in Prans eyes, because he knows those things, he also feels those things and knowing that Pat likes Ink, takes away the chance that there might be hope for him after all. As Pat asks again if Pran likes him, he goes with an: "I hate you" to play over his feelings, but as Pat playing sulky goes to bed we can see Pran looking at him, silently crying and wiping his eyes. For the time being, he lost his hope At this moment.

Episode 5

The one with the Feelings and the Rooftop ->

Episode 5 is a big and very important one. And i wanna talk about two things in this one.

1. The one with the Feelings Pran just lost all his hope at the end of last Episode, and we spent the first half of this one following Pat, as he discovers his feelings for Pran. It starts with him getting advice from Pa on how to check if Ink likes him, and we follow them around as he tries to see if the spark , while touching or looking into each other's eyes, is there. As he admits defeat with Ink he goes to pick up his new Drumsticks in the music shop where he runs into Pran, and we get the exact opposite of what just happened with Ink. We hear Pa give her advice again, as all the things she explains , Pat can see with Pran. Confused by his feelings he asked his friend Korn how he can make sure that he likes someone, I like that here it does not feel like Pat is confused by liking a guy but more by liking Pran who was his rival and his friend only for a short time. His friend gives him the advice that if he is jealous, he likes someone for sure. And over the rest of the episode we see Pat noticing how bothered he is by the closeness of Wai and Pran which hits its Peak at the music contest , where Wai and Pran play the song Pat and Pran wrote together in High school. After seeing that, Pat knows, or at least can't really lie to himself about his feelings anymore.

2. The one with the Rooftop The Rooftop moment. It has been talked about, it has been analyzed, and it has been deemed the best. In this scene, the entire development between them that was build up in the last couple of episodes comes to a peak. Pran is hurt and hopless that his feelings will ever reach Pat , and Pat just discovered he likes Pran. So it kind of feels like the situation around them turned. Pat wants his Feelings to reach Pran and Pran wants to keep his distance to not get hurt more. Pat stops Pran from leaving the Rooftop, he wants to talk about what is going on between them, and he opens with the fact that he got hurt by Wai and Pran playing their song. Pran feels irritated by that statement because he, who wrote the song for Pat, doesn't want to interpret this as jealousy and dismisses Pats jealousy. Pat then follows up by saying he was happy when Pran left and that finally his stress went away. Which alone almost brings Pran back to tears, he doesn't want to hear it , he doesn't want to know how Pats life got easier after he left, and when Pat ends his short monolog by saying even tho a lot of things might be easier he was so lonely without Pran around, and Pran reacts to this, probably because that's exactly how he felt, he wanted to be free from the pressure of competing with Pat, who he cared about, but he didn't want to leave him. As Pat asks if they really can't be friends to know that they are back together, Pran gives his feelings a last chance by asking if that's really what Pat wants. But of course he doesn't. What follows is their first Kiss on the Rooftop. And just yesterday I watched an excellent video about kissing and the work in Series behind it. It was a video about KinnPorsch, but she talked about this moment too, and about the Physical, emotional and Lexical that goes into a good Kiss in Dramas.I could now word for word write down what she said, but I will just link the video at the end. But the TL;DR is that this moment has it all , the emotions between Pran to Pat a running high, the kiss feels unsure and shy in the beginning and develops into almost something desperate between them and on top the line delivery of both Ohm and nanon lets you know how they feel. After they break apart, Pat smiles, he feels on top of the world, but Pran looks almost in Pain. He is so scared of what's going to happen next. He doesn't want to get hurt again, and still doesn't really trust the thing between them. So he runs away without a word and leaves Pat behind on the Roof.

Episode 6

The Beach ->

The Beach could honestly be two scenes, the one at the end with the bet and the kind of confession out of both of them. Or the one in the middle of the Episode. And that is the one i wanna talk about. Because yes the one at the end is oh so very Pat and Pran and very good from a dialog Perspective, but I feel like the setup for this scene happens earlier in the Episode. After they get dirty while retuning from the market they play together in the water, it's a very lighthearted scene in the beginning where they just play like kids and friends again. After they are tired of playing they are sitting in the sand and here Pat brings up the Kiss for the first time. Pran does not want to talk about it, and Pat accepts this for now. (He later brings it up again at the end of the Episode). Pran asks if Pats hates him, and here they talk again about how tough it was for them to compete since childhood and the anger Pran felt when he needed to leave everyone behind because of his Friendship with Pat, they follow this up by talking about how hard it is to be friends with each other because everybody would hate it, and even tho they both know that , they come to the conclusion that it is very nice to just sit in the sand together and do nothing.

So those are my fafourite moments of Bad Buddy Ep 1 - 6, i hope i can finish the other six, by tomrrow too.
