Ever since she had found herself in South Dakota, she had found herself wondering the wild of it. People watching had become somewhat of a hobby of hers since she had needed much time away from her brother. Lately he was becoming slightly unbearable. Leaving Mini unable to breathe in her own space. People watching seemed to be a better use of her time than sitting around wondering when their father would eventually catch up to them anyways. Anxiety had began to set into the restless wytch

Though her attention was deterred when she heard the sound of an animal growling. Mini's heart began to race as she looked around trying to see if she had somehow disturbed their space. But another glance downwards from her place in the trees led her to the sight of a young woman fighting with a bobcat as she spoke to it. Her voice was low and soft as if to comfort the thing. Though the bobcat did not seem to want anything to do with the young woman or what she was trying to do. At the sound of the young woman's voice her way, Mini jumped. Making her fall from her place in the trees. It had appeared that she had zoned out for a time and had finally been spotted.

Jumping to her feet and brushing her fingers through her hair a bit, Minji gave a soft smile. "I wasn't necessarily watching you," she began, "But you're right. That bobcat didn't want any of your shit today."

“ stop being a lil shit I´m trying to help you.” exasperated with the young bobcat that kept scratching her bare arms since her warm jacket was tightly wrapped around the animal rina brings her own beast to the surface. eyes flash golden with a very low warning growl. recognising one of his own, at least in part, it stops fighting against her hold. “ it´s the human smell in my clothes. yeah I hate it too but we can´t all walk around only in our own furs, can we?” if someone was to find her talking with a animal, chances were they would see it as normal. humans talk with their pets all the time and say the stupidest things. like that old lady at the clinic last week, even the ever stoic GUARDIAN had to hold back a laugh.a new scent touches her nose that makes the youngster beast restless. “pelo amor de deus!” the expression in the first language she learned passes her lips as the bobcat escapes from her arms back into the forest. “for how long are you going to keep staring?” picking the ruined jacket from the ground she puts it back to block the cold and hide the scratches in her arms that are already healing in a quicker pace when compared to humans. ” I’m a veterinary. “ she explained. ” was trying to fix his paw at the clinic, guess he didn’t want my help.“

life had seemed to slow down since making south dakota her home. her father had seemed to loosen his search for her. which made life for her more...calm and tranquil. minji watched as the birds swooped form tree to tree and sing their songs to one another. she fought to forget about the life she had led before now. how she had drained the life from several unsuspecting victims for her father. and all for what? to be ostracized from her siblings? it hadn’t been worth it and now that all she had was her brother (of whom was still clearly struggling with losing a sister) she regretted her decisions more every day.

with a day off, mini decided to destress and walk around the towns that mapped out her new home. after all, shouldn’t she get to know the area. it had been four months and not once had minji gotten to know a single soul or venture far from her home or work. it simply hadn’t crossed her mind to do so until now.
