And good MAN GOOD! Prove me fucking wrong. Prove to me that miraculous still has that spark in it that captivated me in the beginning. Prove to me this show is still worth watching and hoping for.

And man yeah. It still does. Atleast this special truly showed that.

This was so fucking good. And there are probably gonna be critics that disagree with me and that's fine man. I'm critical as fuck of miraculous and I even dropped it after season 5. I was DONE. lost all hope. Didn't care to see more not even this fucking special which I was so sure was gonna dissapoint me too.

And now I sit here admitting my wrongs and giving props where props is due. This special was fucking great. Best piece of miraculous media Period 👏 In my opinion and by far the best special out of all of them. Ladybug and Marinette were great. Alya was great and felt Important and like a good friend again, Chat Noir was great, Adrien felt like a main character again. Shadybug and Claw Noir were by far the best part hands down. I loved them from beginning to end. Especially Shadybug.

Man I missed this shit man. So freaking happy.

Now it's not perfect. There are definitely some things that I'm mixed on. The whole Chloe turned me evil thing still kinda iffy on that and a couple other things but overall man Jesus. Wow I mean I'm genuinely proud of everyone who worked on this. Animation team, writing team, voice actors. Everybody gets their flowers.

*sigh* I don't yet have high hopes for season 6. But.....I will keep an ear out to hear how it goes and if all goes well and it gets received positively I'll watch.

This special showed what happens when miraculous actually tries. This show has a lot of potential man it really does. It just needs to care for the story it wants to tell and man it did here for sure.

Seriously man where tf was this quality of care for the season 5 finale? 💀 I need to know because wow what a day and night difference.

The reason I’m so upset about the finale is that once again we’re letting the mlb writers get away with teasing plot and taking it away. Honestly I’d keep watching mlb if it stayed the same as the first few seasons, I don’t like the way they’re trying to introduce plot and then they remember it’s a kids show so they undo it.

There are so many character inconsistencies and honestly I don’t think it’s fair how every season we have to be like “it’s okay it will all be sorted out next season”. It’s frustrating.

Everything wrong with the Season 5 finale

1. How tf did Marinette not realise that Gabriel was going to turn on her. She’s smarter than that and I know she wouldn’t have let herself be that invulnerable. Cmon now.

2. Since when would Gabriel decide what was going to be sacrificed to get his wife back. Ngl if it was going to be this easy they should have done it from the start

3. I’m sorry what’s with the statue?? so much easier things could have been done

4. So. Anti. Climatic. Wtf.

5. Lila suddenly being a mega villain is not cutting it for me I’m ngl. I’m not getting excited about this or anything. This is silly.

6. Marinette blatantly lying to Adrien is so out of character. I don’t believe it. Season 6 better start with Marinette going “i wish it was this easy” and get to the real life or else I’m literally down. Wtf.

Warning mentions SA and Felix:

It genuinely bothers me that Felix SA Ladybug in season 3 has not been addressed. They should have made him apologize for it at the very least... How are we supposed to forget that it ever happened?

If you say Felix didn’t do anything. He pinned her to the wall and was going to forcibly kiss Ladybug against her will. That’s still SA.

She said no; he didn’t care and was going to go through with it if Ladybug hadn’t rightfully punched him in the face. Felix 💯% deserved that, by the way.

I can't even watch that scene with a straight face without being disgusted.

And I'm a female. Even you're a female, you'll get my point of view.

Undoubtedly, had Felix, not SA Ladybug in season 3 and betrayed her by giving the miraculous to Shadow Moth in the worse way possible in the season 4 finale, my perception of him as a character would have been somewhat altered. Because of this action, Ladybug had a panic attack and self-doubt in the initial episodes of season 5. Although season 5 implies that Felix has good intentions, I cannot fully embrace them due to his SA on Ladybug and express remorse for it.

Ladybug rightfully points out that Argos had given Shadow Moth the miraculous before he became Monarch, without considering the adverse effects it would have on the people of Paris, as mentioned in Emotion, and this was only mentioned once.

Argos responds that he acted out of self-preservation and was unconcerned with the consequences.

Most Felix stans and apologists that defend him tend to ignore this fact for unknown reasons.

What intrigues me is that Felix is now cognizant of Marinette's true identity as Ladybug. This implies that he has targeted both his cousin's girlfriend and his girlfriend's closest friend. It is reasonable to assume that the writers would have included an apology from Felix to Marinette for all the harm he has caused.

Currently, he has not shown any regret to her for all the pain he has caused her.

I comprehend why he won't apologize for taking the miraculous, as he believed it was the only way to obtain his freedom, which I understand to some extent. It's the SA and him stealing the miraculous that I don't understand why the writers didn't address, and instead, the show just ignores it.

Furthermore, it's troubling that Marinette is expected to forgive him after his regretful history. He caused considerable pain and betrayal towards her in the most atrocious way. Henceforth, I won't stand for anyone demeaning Marinette, as she is currently working together with the person who took away the miraculous from her to retrieve them.

Actually, Marinette is an exceedingly dependable person and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect Paris and the world, even if it means teaming up with Felix (whom she has seen as her foe from the beginning). As a result, she deserves the admiration she gets.
