Okay we have to talk about this.
I've seen many people who keep hating on adrien agreste from miraculous tales of ladybug and chat noir for being very oblivious to his feelings but it's about time we looked at that from his point of view.
ADRIEN.
he was never allowed to go to school or get out of his own house or have his own freewill in anyway he was only used to talking to fans or other types of fake people he never new how any type of relationship worked in season 1 he had to beg his dad to let him go to a public school his mom was the only person in his life that he enjoyed being with for almost half of his life for a long period of time suddenly she disappears Gabriel never told him that she fell into a coma and is in a coffin in thier basement adrien must be so confused of why his mom isn't coming home can you imagine what kind of lies he's been told by his own father. He's only heard of 'love' and 'friendship' he's never experienced them so to him the first thing he sees is friendship and the second thing he sees is love. Everyone in the show including kagami and luka saw it. He's never experienced love of that kind before he's basically an emotionally broken child that's why he can't understand that his 'love' for ladybug is simply just admiration and his 'love' for marinette isn't friendship he's experienced a huge amount of trauma since childhood so he's mistaking everything. And when he is chat noir he acknowledges that no one knows his identity so that means he's free to do what he wants which is really sad once you think about it. he's just a teenager so it's about time we cut him some slack sure his 'just a friend' can get on us love square shippers nerves but we have to be patient Tomas astruc conformed the reveal is happening in season 4 so all we have to do is wait
(Sorry for the grammar mistakes if there is any😅)
