my petticoat finally shipped out and i just ordered the fabric for the ears and some dye for the wig so we are back in business soon ✌️

Tried on my Nautilus wig! I plan to dye it so it has more of a gradient of blues and style it properly, but I have to admit I feel very confident wearing it. ;v ; 🐚🌺

Yesterday was making the mockup and pattern for the skirt. 🌺

I’m really happy with the shape, but the scallops are kinda huge! Definitely going to need some good support for the skirt to make it poofy and have the shape be obvious.

So far it’s just been patterning out the top part of the dress. Next is figuring out the sash and skirt portion!

for your nautilus costume are you making liquus to go along as well? you could probably use led light strips (like the sticky tape) to make him glow if you want

I was planning to make Liquus eventually, yes! That’s probably not gonna be for a bit, until after the full outfit itself is finished though. ;v ; Making plushies is something I have no experience in, so I want to do some good research on that before attempting!

But that’s a super good idea that I hadn’t thought of omg, thank you so much for mentioning it!! I’ll for sure look into LED’s. :0c

My Princess Nautilus wig has arrived today! 💙🦀

It’s a Greta in Powder Blue from @ardawigs and I’m so in love with it!! It’s so gorgeous, I’m scared to start styling it but it’s definitely the perfect base for Nautilus.
