Idk how likely it is for Ryoko Kui to do another full epilogue chapter specifically for having some sort of resolution to Laios' and Falin's parent issues, but GOD it is an absolute shame we have yet to see their dad- who for all intents and purposes is probably just living in the reality of a regular medieval guy- at some point getting the message that his estranged son is now the ruler of an ancient lost magical kingdom that literally rose up from the sea. Like. How do you respond to that. His previous biggest problem five minutes ago was probably grain tariffs.

as of 30 minutes ago WKCR columbia university's student radio reports every window in hind's hall was shattered in the police raid, and there are tables and chairs strewn across the building. police is taking down the banner that the occupying students had hung in front of the building which renamed hamilton hall as hind's hall (named after Hind Rajab, who was bombed by iof after being trapped in a car with all six martyred relatives for days). there is still heavy nypd presence on campus.

straight up not only is moralizing appearance shitty because people in your life will find out that you think they're ugly, it's also a suuuuper easy stepping stone to racism because a lot of features the zeitgeist deems "ugly" are features often found in marginalized groups.

Depression is such an effective tranquilizer that it creates a great opportunity for plot twists in your real life. I have a pretty consistent opinion of myself which is "low" and "never ending guilt and shame for reasons I don't understand."
Recently received feedback from two different editing clients that started with "Please pass along to Jacquelynn that she is phenomenal at her job" and "I was blown away by the evaluation I received."
You always hear about how depression (and anxiety) lies to you and distorts reality, but there is logically knowing that and then there is like, physical proof of it and you are suddenly Neo in the Matrix jumping out of the fucked up little tube machine.
