Crystal Friend of Week 1: Our Old Friend, Ammonite
I had never heard of Ammonite until this year, which is pretty fitting, seeing how we are in a time of intense energies which may bring up past life things to resolve and clear. Ammonite is an ancient fossilized being that holds a lot of knowledge from the earth. It is shaped in a spiralized way which is perfect to connect to, to trace back personal and familial timelines and move forward through those timelines. This friend is ready to help you release old baggage, see how to transcend struggles and see how each and every action affects and creates the next action. A way to connect with Ammonite is to hold it in your non-dominant hand, ask for permission to tap into its energy field and if granted, start to trace the spiral path on Ammonite starting from the middle and going out to the end, and then following your traced path in reverse. Focus on any feelings, thoughts and sensations that may come up as you pass each segmented section on the spiral. Ask for any unwanted or unneeded energies to be release and dissolved away from you. After you are done, be sure to thank Ammonite for showing you what needed to be seen and understood so you can move on and assimilate better and healthier frequencies. The Ammonite that I am lucky enough to have is sourced from Madagascar. It has an very grounding and almost intimidating energy to it because it is so old and possesses so much wisdom. I myself have only hit the tip of the iceberg with understanding how to work with Ammonite. And because it is so powerful, I only work with it on special occasions when I really, really need to unlock mental/emotional/spiritual dilemmas that I or myself are looping and seemingly locked into.  As with all things, use your intuition and discernment to connect and see what is the best and highest way to use any mineral :)
