hello! i am looking forward to this event! thank you for organizing it. i was wondering- how exactly do we participate? is it just creating content about one or more of these characters, or do they all have to be included in our works? i'm guessing fics and art will be the main focus?

Hi! We're so excited you're looking forward to it, too! For this event you can create any kind of thing you want (fics, art, posts of headcannons, videos, music playlists, cosplay -- even screenshots from the game itself are welcome!) And whatever creation it is, as long as at least one of these characters are the main focus it fits!

And then you can tag us here or on Twitter (@mschf_mkrs_fe3h) when you post your work!

They say crime doesn't pay, but when you're hungry and cold and you have a family to feed, sometimes it's the only way to pay. This guy's parents died and left him with two small mouths to feed, so you can hardly blame him for turning to the light-fingered profession. After that harrowing life on the streets, it was such a relief to hear all three of them were adopted. But old habits die hard I suppose; he was soon running the streets once again for the thrill of it. Now that he's no longer a kid pinching cans of soup, it's much more serious, and he's moved on from diamonds and artifacts. Nowadays, his pilfering operations have become much more dire, including making massive shipments of weapons disappear, and intercepting military and political intel before it reaches the appropriate desk. Perhaps because of this, only the proper authorities seem too worried, and to be fair, he's never been known to take a life.

CLAUDE VON RIEGAN, the Spy.

At some point, 'curiosity killed the cat' just stopped meaning anything to this guy. He's very good at weaseling himself into (and out of) conversations, situations, and all of the world's dirty little secrets. If you assume you're keeping something close to your chest, think again. Even seemingly innocent things, this guy wants to know. Classified documents and dossiers mysteriously vanish and turn up when he's out on the prowl, and blackmail is the least of his crimes. He never appears like he's paying attention, but if you're having a conversation within thirty yards of the man, kiss those secrets goodbye. He's not above going through your trash or breaking into your house if need be, and while he appears pretty harmless and leaves nearly no trace, there's always that lingering 'what if' where he walks. They say he never tells a lie, but there's always an area of shade between that and the truth.

YURI LECLERC, the Assassin.

No sugar-coating this guy. He's a killer, born and bred they say, and there's no one in the world who doesn't have a price (with the exception of his beloved mother). They say he once went so far as to accept a contract for a child. He keeps every small weapon out there handy, and can make as much use with a rusty knife than ten men could with the latest gadgetry. No matter how many times he's been pinned down, he always tunnels his way out, whether by quick action, sleight of hand, or mysteriously being proclaimed innocent before every judge. And even worse, he doesn't work alone. They say every hired killer bends their knee to the King of Wolves, though he's known as a Mockingbird to his closer associates. His Kingdom is a vast underground of the impoverished and downtrodden many call Abyss, but those people are under his protection. He's stated many times that when he kills, he kills for them. And amongst the five, he's killed more than any one man ever should.

SYLVAIN JOSE GAUTIER, the Scoundrel.

He's the long lost heir to a famous name and he's been practicing his art since he was old enough to understand romance. The art being in faking it, of course. Though leaving behind a flood of broken hearts may not be a crime in itself, it's usually what he does once his victims are mid-swoon that calls for his arrest. Seducing information from government agents, charming security to access private property, and even rumored to have set his sights on royalty, it seems no one is immune to his charms. Generally being a heartbreaker and not a heartstopper, he's left only a few when it comes to body count, but the information, possessions, and dangerous liaisons he's made to bring his adversaries to his side means he could indirectly be responsible for the lives of millions.

LINHARDT VON HEVRING, the Expert.

A couple of years ago, he was one of the most respected Crest Scholars in Fódlan's history. Sure, he was known for occasionally poking his nose where it didn't belong, usually in dangerous old ruins or mausoleums. Still, no one could have ever guessed such a sleepy little pencil-pusher would up and vanish with every copy of his unknown, unprinted studies and ten priceless artifacts from museums around the world. All at the same time, just vanished, with help from 'a dear friend of his'. He was arrested only once, and while he isn't purportedly affiliated with any spy networks, he seems the best of the five at squirreling himself away. He looks harmless and his casualty number is zero, but he's too smart to be left alone.
