I was born into legalistic religion with parents who justified beating me with Bible verses. Once I moved out I left Christianity and denied God for 11 years. Three years ago I came across some nut talking about Bible Prophesy. I then got a craving to open the Bible to fact check him. Well long story short here I am 3 years later fully dedicated to God. Ditched all the cult religious man made nonsense that was taught to me and discovered TRUE BIBLICAL Christianity! I want to help spread the gospel and get the bad taste of legalistic religion out of your mouths. Christianity is NOT a religion it’s a relationship with Jesus Christ! Ask me anything!God Bless and MARANATHA!

So its not the classical : “Get thee behind me Satan!”. It’s “Get thee behind me, Me!”
Not everything is a demonic attack remember
“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, in order to keep you from doing whatever you want.”
Galatians 5:16-17 NASB2020
Praying for freedom from a “demonic attack” when it’s really your flesh won’t get you delivered.
Man I’m preaching to myself right now.
“Now those who belong to Christ Jesus crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”
Galatians 5:24 NASB2020
But wait how can I distinguish between a war with my flesh and Spiritual warfare?
Demonic attacks
1. These are temptations that are unusually intense, persistent, and go against one's normal values and desires.
2. It can manifest as persistent, negative, or blasphemous thoughts that plague the mind, often accompanied by doubts about God's goodness or existence
3. They induce irrational fears, anxieties, and feelings of oppression, often leading to a sense of being overwhelmed and unable to function normally.
4. It brings up past sins and mistakes, causing feelings of shame and unworthiness.
5. It can manifest as a heaviness, a sense of being controlled, or a feeling of being disconnected from God.
“Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. So resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brothers and sisters who are in the world.”
1 Peter 5:8-9 NASB2020
War with the flesh
1. It represents the sinful nature, and its desires can lead to actions that contradict one's spiritual convictions.
2. Believers often experience an internal struggle between the desires of the flesh and the promptings of the Spirit.
3. The flesh is often associated with selfishness, pride, and a focus on worldly desires.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying arguments and all arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.”
2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NASB2020
I hope from this you can easily distinguish between your flesh and spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare attacks you mentally with horrible out of character thoughts while flesh is simply just fleshly desires with things you’ve always struggled with.
I use to assign a demon to everything until I read the Bible and discovered 95% of the time it’s not demonic it’s just my old sinful self. Love how Paul puts it in Romans.
“For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold into bondage to sin. For I do not understand what I am doing; for I am not practicing what I want to do, but I do the very thing I hate. However, if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, that the Law is good. But now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. But if I do the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me.”
Romans 7:14-20 NASB2020

The Poison of Echo Chambers ☠️
Biblically ALL Christians NEED to avoid Echo Chambers‼️
“Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in an abundance of counselors there is victory.”
Proverbs 11:14 NASB2020
ABUNDANCE of counselors for an ABUNDANCE of different opinions! Remember though the Bible should ALWAYS be our FINAL authority. Fact check EVERYTHING you hear, read, and even think about!
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
1 John 4:1 NASB2020
The Bible also says NOT to abandon the gathering of believers. Because with interacting with other believers you will encounter differing opinions. Don’t be scared about different opinions REJOICE in them because they will help you form an even HEALTHIER, STRONGER, DEEPER RELATIONSHIP with God because those that challenge your viewpoint will ignite an urge to dive into the Word to not just test their opinions but also should ALWAYS make you reevaluate and TEST yours!
“not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”
Hebrews 10:25 NASB2020
I mean just look at the example Jesus left for us while He was down here! He didn’t hang out in an echo chamber He went out challenged those IN the echo chambers as well as OTHER people of different cultures and religious beliefs! That’s what got Him CRUCIFIED! The religious leaders REFUSED to leave their echo chambers and fact check Jesus with Scripture while putting their presuppositions aside!
“And at this point His disciples came, and they were amazed that He had been speaking with a woman, yet no one said, “What are You seeking?” or, “Why are You speaking with her?””
John 4:27 NASB2020
In conclusion, the Bible encourages a posture of humility, open-mindedness, and a willingness to engage with diverse perspectives, all of which stand in contrast to the nature of an echo chamber so break out of your echo chamber and develop a deeper relationship and understanding of God and the Bible! I speak from experience because if I stayed in my echo chamber I wouldn’t be a Christian.
MARANATHA! & God Bless!

This beautiful symbology in the Bible, of how lamb's blood today is used to produce snake antivenom. Because the antibodies that are in lamb's blood make the best antivenom. Christ symbolizes the lamb against sin, against the snake who is Lucifer. But that's what science uses today to produce snake antivenom. They put snake's blood and the snake's venom into lamb's blood, and it produces a perfect antivenom.
Wonderful examples of the Bible, knew science before science did.

The One “True” Church
“Therefore, recognize that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham.”
Galatians 3:7 NASB2020
Notice on how it says “THOSE WHO ARE OF FAITH” not those who are of the one true church.
In fact let’s translate our English term church back into the original language it was written in. (Greek)
Ekklesia (ἐκκλησία). It literally means "assembly" or "congregation". In the context of Christianity, it refers to the gathering of believers in Jesus Christ. While "church" in English often implies a building, the Greek word primarily refers to the people who are called together.
Read the definition and answer me this. IF the Greek translation of our word church means “gathering of believers in Jesus Christ” and not our definition of a “building or denomination etc” then wouldn’t that disarm the claim of the Catholic Church being the “one true church” oh and the LDS (although it isn’t a Christian denomination it’s a false religion).
What’s the Bible say about who the body of Christ is?
“Therefore, recognize that it is those WHO ARE OF FAITH who are sons of Abraham.”
Galatians 3:7 NASB2020
So Biblically being a believer in Christ Jesus is what makes us the body of Christ.
“He is also the head of the body, the church: ekklesia (GATHERING of BELIEVERS) ; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.”
Colossians 1:18 NASB2020

Sovereignty in Suffering
Scripture says, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.”— Romans 8:28 All things. Not just good things. Not just easy things. Not just Christian Instagram vibes. Pain.Betrayal.Loss.Cancer.Bankruptcy.Death. All of it, woven into His purpose. That doesn’t mean it’s painless. It means it’s purposed. Case in…

Childlike Faith
“and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. So whoever will humble himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 18:3-4 NASB2020
I heard a story of a 7 year old girl Mercy and it’s the PERFECT example for this verse.
After a church sermon on Peter’s sermon in Acts 2:14-41, my 7 year old daughter came to me afterward and said, "Dad, I want to repent of my sins and be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
The simplicity and greatness of her faith. She didn't need to debate the finer points of how and when, exactly, the Holy Spirit would come. She just wanted to obey the passage to the best of her ability.
It’s clear to me and to you that Mercy didn’t have the biblical knowledge many of us do, but I wonder how many of us have the faith she has.
Mercy’s response is EXACTLY how our response should be to the Scripture. Why do we sometimes feel that we need to debate things endlessly, running through every possible hypothetical situation and answering every theological question first? When will we simply respond to the truth we have heard and then work through our questions from there.
These last 3 years of being a Christian I have come to realize that I have been doing EXACTLY the complete opposite of Mercy. I have pumped myself up with knowledge and unknowingly come out as being a cocky Bible thumping know it all. For that I do apologize to anyone who’s had that view of me since my conversion.
All this to say if your new to Christ, debating whether you should give this Christianity thing a try don’t jump into it trying to know it all and out wit every other Christian Atheist etc. Pick up your Bible go into a quiet place and TRULY SEEK God just you and Him. Yes we are commanded to go out and preach the gospel I am in NO WAY saying not to but just make sure if you are that your taking personal time out of every day to just sit and either read, pray, or bask in His glory!
“And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13 NASB2020
“But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.”
Deuteronomy 4:29 NASB2020

Stop Cherry-Picking the Bible!
You know what really GRINDS my gears?
When a Christian throws a single verse out at someone trying to tell them what that SINGULAR first means in the context of correction. Usually what they say it means is COMPLETELY out of context. For example
“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.”
Matthew 7:1 NLT
“Jesus says not to judge!”
While that observation is true for that single verse go down 4 more verses and you will realize He is teaching us how to PROPERLY judge
“Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough ⭐️to deal ⭐️with the speck in your friend’s eye.”
Matthew 7:5 NLT
When the Books of the Bible were written they were written as BOOKS not chapters and verses. It wasn’t until 1560 that the first full Bible (Geneva Bible) was split into chapters and verses.
So how do I properly understand a Bible verse?
Seek the Holy Spirit's guidance: Prayerfully ask for understanding and guidance as you study the Bible
Read the surrounding verses: Pay close attention to the verses immediately before and after the passage you're reading.
Consider the book's context: Read entire chapters or even commentaries to get a general idea of the context.
Research the historical and cultural background in the era the writer is writing in.
Consider who wrote the text, to whom it was written, and for what purpose. This will help you discern the author's intended message and avoid misinterpretations.
In Conclusion
The problem with modern Christians is that we have slowly turned away from Sola Scriptura : Latin term meaning "by Scripture alone”. To what I call Solo Scriptura : meaning instead of Scripture interpreting Scripture it’s man’s opinion interpreting Scripture, which is DANGEROUS and is what leads to for example the Crusades etc.
2 Timothy 3:16 NLT
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”

Translation, Transmission & “Lost” Gospels
One of the smarmiest skeptic digs is this, “The Bible you read was cooked up by church councils, they tossed out ‘real’ gospels and snuck in secret texts.” Oh really? Let’s tear into that. “Every word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.”— Proverbs 30:5 Canon by Consensus, Not Coercion.By 200 AD, Christians from Rome to Antioch were quoting the same 27 New…

The Heart of the Problem
The question isn’t new,“If God is good, why do bad things happen?” We ask it when a child gets cancer. When a drunk driver takes a life. When the headlines bleed with violence, corruption, and disaster. But here’s the truth that wrecks our excuses, “Sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned…”— Romans 5:12 The problem isn’t…

A Quick Peek Behind The Veil
2 Nephi 29:6 Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible.
The Book of Mormon is supposed to be a companion to the Bible but yet it constantly bashes the Bible as well as contradicts it. No thank you, I will stick to the Bible, you know the book that has thousands of manuscripts dating all the way back to the BC era instead of a book that has absolutely no backing from the BC times and or any archaeological evidence backing its claims up, of the simplest things like elephants living in America
Ether 9:19 "And they also had horses, and asses, and there were elephants and cureloms and cumoms; all of which were useful unto man, and more especially the elephants and cureloms and cumoms."
As well as honey bees in 600 BC
Ether 2:3 "And they did also carry with them deseret, which, by interpretation, is a honey bee; and thus they did carry with them swarms of bees, and all manner of that which was upon the face of the land, seeds of every kind."
Although historically Honey bees are documented to FIRST being brought to the Americas in 1622.
Oh lets not forget where Jesus was suppose to be born.
Alma 7:10 "And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God."
Yes I know " Smith meant the area of Jerusalem" if you can show me ANY historical evidence OUTSIDE the LDS faith where someone labeled Bethlehem being in the Land of Jerusalem then maybe I will reconsider but you ask any historian outside the LDS faith they will look at you like you have 10 heads.
This is only but a FEW. I sympathize with Mormons because read my bio. I denied God for 11 years due to willful ignorance of believing what I was taught by fallible man rather then search my own. When I searched to try and prove the Bible and Christianity wrong I ended up converting myself.
I say this in love Mormons are not Christians if you are offended by that I say it out of love and to get you fired up to try and prove me wrong.
God Bless and Maranatha!

Before I started seriously studying the Word of God, I would follow nearly everyone who spoke the Word. However, the more you study, the fewer people you follow because you realize that not everyone teaches the Word truthfully.
Deception is massive, especially in many churches and online teachings, and they also water down the gospel so as not to offend or convict you. Most online teaching is controlled by the like button.
God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, so please, my brothers and sisters in Christ, learn the Scriptures for yourselves, your family, and your ministry.
The best way to learn the truth is to obey the little you know, and God will give you more understanding as you grow in obedience. Always pray before you study, asking the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth. Come to God as a humble little child, knowing nothing, with your cup completely emptied.
📖 Hosea 4:6 KJV - My PEOPLE are DESTROYED for LACK of KNOWLEDGE: because thou hast REJECTED knowledge, I will also REJECT THEE, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
📖 Revelation 12:9 KJV - And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which DECEIVETH the whole WORLD: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
📖 1 Corinthians 3:18 KJV - Let NO MAN DECEIVE himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
📖 Matthew 18:4 KJV - Whosoever therefore shall HUMBLE HIMSELF as this LITTLE CHILD, the same is GREATEST in the kingdom of heaven.
Let's LEARN SCRIPTURE, BELIEVE and OBEY our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

We rarely see people hold MUSLIMS and people of other faiths to the expectations they hold us Christians to. Who is calling for Islam to embrace gay marriage? Who is calling for the Quran to be updated to modern norms? Yeah, I thought not. It is at the same time patronizing to people of others faiths and intolerance toward Christians. Shame! But in the words of St Athanasius of Alexandria: "If the world is against the truth, then I am against the world"
