honestly not surprised they canceled gotham knights. i would have been more surprised if they gave it a second season. nexstar is completely overhauling the cw and only going with insanely cheap products and I guess gotham knights is not cheap enough for them

besides that, i also don't want gotham knights on there cuz the cw is just not doing well under nexstar. wouldn't be surprised if the network dies completely within a year or two

it just sucks that two of the shows we're all so passionate about started airing when the cw was this unstable and more importantly when a writer's strike has been happening, meaning that showrunners can't pitch their shows to networks and networks are holding off on greenlit-ting any project until a deal is reached with writers. and as far as I know, that means that actors' contracts can lapse so then they're not available for future projects etc.

so yeah just terrible timing. also fuck studios. they should all pay their employees better
