Scholastic are always updating their website with new book lists, that are even categorised into age! It is a great resource to find new books and the classics that everyone loves.

This writing checklist is something I have seen in younger classrooms. Students can look over it as they are writing to make sure they are including everything they need.

As a child, and still to this day, my favourite book was The Secret Garden, by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I would dream of exploring like Mary did, and finding my own treasured secret place. I believe that this book had an influence on my love for travel, adventure, and always trying to find the beauty and potential in things that may look a bit tired on the outside.
