Got visited by a tiny friend while working today :)

They tried to make a net around my finger for a while before I put them on a plant.

Possibly a green cucumber spider (araniella Curcubitina) but I'm not good with spiders, so I'm unsure..

Foraged wild garlic, elf cup and lions mane stir fry. Lions mane was home grown not foraged. Tasted lovely! If you have sensory issues that prevent you from having mushrooms I would highly recommend steaming them first, it improves the texture and dims the taste slightly.

Ingredients:

Scarlett elf cups, lions mane, wild garlic (turned into garlic powder), lemon, vegan honey made from flowers, salt and pepper. (Fried in olive oil which was then used as infused mushroom oil, lovely for drizzling on chick pea salads!)

Painting a spider weekly until I’ve made a looong bunting day 1 (noble false widow) (the vision, but mine will be longer— source of the merry Christmas bunting is Ralph and Luna party shop)

PS feel free to request a spider!! :D constructive criticism accepted and appreciated but only AFTER day 8, only just getting back into art after 2 full years of doing none, so I’m a bit rocky and just want to get into the routine first :))

A friend told me I should also clarify that your moth's wings will bend differently based on the species. At rest, many of them, like this grape leafholder, sit with their wings a little downwards rather than up like a butterfly.
