I tried to draw how I had imagined the treasure bug jam recipe while reading the Dungeon Meshi manga, after seeing how it looked in color in the anime. I was picturing something that would really appear like normal jam with fruits bits in it at first glance, except those are actually squishy egg-gems~

The anime went for a more impressive array of colors, a feast for the eyes but which also felt to me more like artificial candies. The big mix of colors which then made for a very impressive and delicious looking ice-cream once it's reused. In comparison, the one I drew based on my first image feels more like basic, normal ice cream.

And although they're eggs, I wonder if the treasure bugs popping-up from those would also look like gems?

Carma and Loméllie from the French comic Carma de Portepoisse. It's a really fun story in one volume, set in a fantasy world where luck and misfortune are really powerful and magical. Carma's family has been cursed by a god into needing to avoid having getting too much good OR bad luck at all times... and then she accidentally gets involved with the misfortunes of a princess whose bad luck is supposedly so terrible it spreads and destroyed her entire kingdom.

I wanted to draw this for Femslash February but didn't manage to get it done in time, and then I procrastinated some more.

I watched the drama adaptation of She Loves to Cook And She Loves to Eat, and now I'm excited for the manga which will come out in French later this year!

I had forgotten about Senshi's cute straw hat in the golems chapter so it was a nice surprise to rediscover it in the anime. Made me want to draw him and I added a little Chilchuck with a bonus straw hat too!
