I tug at the necklace around my neck, feeling for the ragged piece of a broken gear. It’s my lucky charm, though I’m not sure it works half the time. As I press on the gear, the vagueness of the proposition sends another round of unease through me. “Anything?”

“Anything,” Misty confirms. “This is a high stakes game, after all. Are you in?”

I don't normally post on here, but since they posted the winners for the Rusty Fears 5 competition I decided to post my entry on AO3!

Three Kingdoms Archival Process

Hi everyone! I know every time I make a set I say I’ll make more on a better schedule, but I’ve been busy with work and writing, and the clipper hates me.  Fun fact: I won NaNoWriMo in November! 

The main reason I am making this set is because I’m working on archiving Three Kingdoms, my old battle group in the Polyvore days.  I’ve already finished the background info sets, and the series is located here: https://archiveofourown.org/series/2104263 

I’m doing this because I’m nostalgic (I miss my boy!) but also started writing for him again.  He’s actually featured in a short story I wrote that parodies (and is a better version of) The Knight Before Christmas https://archiveofourown.org/works/28160427/chapters/69002967. I write a lot for Battle for London-In-The-Air now, btw. 

Right now, I’m working on collecting work to be featured in the archive.  It’ll be the six main rounds that happened before Polyvore shut down, but I might also archive other stuff if people want, like auditions. I don’t know anything about UrStyle, but I hope there’s a tagging system! If you want your work to be included, send me a DM here, on tumblr (misslunamiste), or Discord (lunaofthemiste). If you have an Ao3 account I’ll add you as a co-author! 

Will I finish off Three Kingdoms properly? I suppose never say never?? IF I did it (and it’s a big if because I’m not going to do it if people aren’t interested) there wouldn’t be a set requirement and it would probably be two-three more rounds, since there were only eight planned in the original version.

Okay I know I only come on here to vent but godddd why is Urstyle so bad to use???

I miss being creative but the fun is gone when I spend half my time fixing my set that has SHRUNK for some reason???

And now the clipper doesn’t work on Safari so I have to switch browsers to do anything.

It’s just really frustrating since it used to be fun and now it’s not.

Okay so I learned a few days ago that one of my resolutions for 2020 was to write more (which I completely forgot), but I did write a lot this past year! In fact, I went and added up word counts to figure it out.

Turns out, I published 48,893 words last year on ao3! Combine that with NaNo (50,000 words) and every draft that I have (probably 2-5k words combined?) I’ve written over 100,000 words!!

Let’s see what 2021 brings!
