Just for fun, I did something different and instead of making the usual drawings of Fox, I decided to try and replicate the styles of other people. In this case @/MissMcCloud64 and @/ch3wpacabras on Twitter, since their takes on the character are pretty cool.

Added the sketch for MissMcCloud's style. I was initially afraid of messing it up but I think I did pretty well on both.

Highly recommend checking their art, they're genuinely awesome and creative.

I know this is mainly a Star Fox blog, but I also wanted to share this because Pixie Hollow was my entire childhood and I'm super stoked to see this recreation in progress!!

For those unaware, Pixie Hollow was a Disney Fairies MMO that centered around creating a fairy, going on quests, crafting, minigames, and more! It was pretty much one of the original cozy games before cozy games even became as popular as they are now. However, it sadly closed down in 2013 and has yet to get a full recreation...

However, this recreation seems to have a lot of promise seeing that the people behind it have access to all of the original assets. Please check them out if you're interested!

Looking for a small team to revive Pixie Hollow

Hey there! Fly with you, my name is Jessi (she/her) and I'm here with an exciting proposition!

I know for a fact that there are many talented pixies in this community, and there are many people that love the game as much as I do. There have been several recreations over the years, and most of them have been working with screenshots and artists to recreate missing art.

I have recently come into possession of the entirety of the original source code and assets thanks to a mutual who directed me to an archive of it (it's pretty easy to find it if you search, so I won't be linking it). I've reached out to a few of the other remakes, but have been met with radio silence.

So here's my proposition. I would like to gather a small team of fairies to help me recreate the hollow using the original assets, sound files, sfx, etc. All of the files are in original quality, and I have the tools needed to decompile them and transfer them to another game engine. Currently right now I'm working in Godot, which is an open source game engine that's scalable and has built in animation tools, and is pretty easy to learn even if you've never used it.

I implore you, please spread this around. I'm currently working on restoring the minigames first, as those are the things that have been almost lost to time, so if you have any interest in game development or know someone who does, please reach out to me either by an ask here, or by sending an email to pixieparadisegame@gmail.com.
