To everyone freaking out about the reblog chains no longer working

I've seen a lot of people reblogging these two posts and I felt the need to give my two cents on it. Long story short, there is an easy fix to this. It actually came out within the past month-ish, give or take, as I reblogged said update on my RPH blog (here's the link to the OG post). All you do is go to to Xkit Rewritten, click on Tweaks, and enable Restore links to individual posts in the post header. Simple as that. I'll even show a screenshot down below on how it looks providing examples on what I'm referring to.

By having Tweaks + Restore links to individual posts in the post header active then you'll be able to do reblog chains just fine. All you have to do is put your mouse over the username and click on it just like old times. Once you click on it then it'll redirect you to the reblog chain. Simple as that.

The only downside to everything going on as of late is that Tweaks + Mutuals Checker are both currently broken on Firefox but work just fine on Chrome and Opera.

So please ask/seek for help if you're confused about any of the updates and whatnot if you lack any credible sources prior to making any posts about the updates going on here. And, as per usual, if you have questions about any of the new features on Tumblr and/or you're genuinely confused or whatever the case may be, then feel free to HMU on my RPH blog via @shinsources.

   Omar sat back in his chair after they clanked their mugs together, a smile still present at the corners of his lips when he took a sip. He felt much more relaxed and happy now, still feeling the rush of hearing how she was excited for their date. It felt even better than drinking had ever felt. He watched her as she prepped her coffee, taking a mental note of how she took it for future references - already thinking about stopping by her work sometime to drop off a drink, knowing how busy she could often get. It would be a nice excuse to get to see her again now that he wasn’t actually a patient anymore.    He put his mug down and blew out a breath as she asked him about plans for a new show or new songs. “No plans currently for any shows… still trying to ease my way back into that so I am trying to only do a couple here and there. I have been writing my thoughts out and some of it’s been some good material so I might try and get a couple tracks set up. Nothing concrete though,” he said with a shrug. “Maybe I’ll let you look some of it over and you can let me know if it’s good or not. Give me some feedback.” He grinned.

“I’d like that,” Bree agreed to hearing his songs. She had always been partial to music, her entire family was (mother excluded) and his songs and rapping were some of her and Wanda’s favorites. “I could do the choirs and everything. I’m pretty good at rapping as you know,” she quipped with a small smile before taking a sip of her coffee. Jeez, he was way too cute for her to be anything but giddy around him. 

“Fun fact: I don’t think I ever told you this but I was in a play once. Off-Broadway sort of thing. It felt as if it was ages ago and the topic was a tad harsh,” she stressed that last word, her accent coming in full bloom. “I met one of my best friends there and then he went off to be a fancy actor and the like,” she added thinking of Jesse. “It was fun for a while, acting and singing and dying off stage but I didn’t see it as my life. Does that make sense? I mean, the attention and cameras and having to constantly go to auditions and all that, it’s too harsh, I’m not cut for it,” she quipped thinking that nursing wasn’t all fun and games either. “Have you ever thought of being something else? Doing something else?”

“ What! ” he had reacted of course with her surprise, offering up a comment before listening again. “ I’m not a total asshole. ” Gabriel knew how to say sorry, he just didn’t like doing it. It wasn’t his preference. So what. “ As usual. ” Why shouldn’t he agree? Wanda was a good face on the cover, regardless of what the story was. If this little banter was going to be more consistent with them now on, he couldn’t say he hated it. The good mood continued with the smell of coffee, his soul very much pleased. It took him no time at all to start blowing and indulging his taste buds.

“ You’re funny, ” he grumbled, “ Do I have a wife lined up yet. ” The man paused, still looking down at the tabloid but no longer reading. That particular subject was somewhat of a contention in the palace. “ No. Contrary to my mother’s wishes. ” It wasn’t that there weren’t options. He just didn’t want any of them. The reason? Something the Prince still wasn’t sure of, or could convey. Or maybe he just didn’t want to. “ She’s pushing for it. I just don’t like any of them. ”

Wanda picked on his body language as she zipped on her mug, fingers tapping slowly over the tabloids. He was way too transparent for such a cunning guy--or maybe she just knew how to read him, clearly no one in his family had seen him coming after all (or her for that matter). She loved and hated to think herself as some sort of Lady Macbeth to him--not that she’d ever see herself as his wife god forbid, but the person by his side nonetheless, bringing some sense and rationality to his plans. “Well, I cannot believe I’m saying this but I do agree with mommy dearest. You need a wife and a heir, ASAP. Especially if you want to protect Char and that crown you got over your pretty little head.”

Taking another sip of coffee she took a moment before speaking again, patting slowly Einy’s head as she did so. “Why don’t you like them? I’m sure they’re perfectly maleable for the role. You don’t need someone to steal your thunder, look at Charles and Diana, or the entire family once Meg showed up next to Harry. I bet they chose well and your coronation is around the corner. You should be bethroted by then. It’s not like you’d need to be, god forbid, faithful to her.”

She returned to her book but paid no real attention to the words on the page since Ben was talking. “Janeway sounds like a total righteous bitch.” She’d have to return to her research on the topic to make her own opinion, but that would do for now. “You should totally make a blog to rant about her.”

“I do love when you blindlessly agree with me. I feel vindicated,” Ben joked even though he feared he was probably bugging her. “A blog rant? What am I a teenager? No, I’ll trash talk Janeway on Twitter, as any cis male would,” he added before getting up and ehading to the expresso machine. “Do you want one? Or tea? Or something? I’m bugging you aren’t I? You’re reading and I’m bitching abuot Star Trek.”

They were talking about Tonks and she knew she needed to be part of this conversation, but she also felt utterly bewitched by this child in her arms. How could something so beautiful and so fragile, just be resting here looking at her? How did he know how to grasp her finger like that when she ran it down his cheek? He was a vision, but she was being rude and she looked up at Viktor and Remus and took a breath.

“Did I just hear something about already asking for a playdate? How old is this kid that you think he’ll be rushing to chase someone around?” Hermione asked, but she smiled fondly at Viktor. “You’ll be one of the first people to know, but at the moment, maybe you should nap? You’re not going to get much chance to do that from here on out, so we’ve got this–promise. Go snuggle your wife and we’ll entertain Teddy for a bit.”

Remus was on the fence about  leaving them alone with his very tiny, very fragile child but this was two of the most skilled wizards and people he had ever known. If someone could keep Teddy alive for an hour was these two. “Okay, anything you need for a diaper change is on his room and he won’t take a bottle but he was fed a little while ago. Just yap if you need anything and I’ll get back okay? And thank you,” Remus said with an exhausted sigh before disappearing to their bedroom. 

Viktor picked on Mione’s tone when talking but he wasn’t entirely sure how she’d feel about him bringing up the subject of kids right about now. She had said pretty much the same as he had so he figured this wasn’t the best time to have this talk. Or maybe it was the perfect time, so as he normally would do, he just winged it. “Can you believe he’s so tiny? I can’t believe he’s gonna grow 20 times his size, honestly. And Remus... Remus looks exhausted. Can’t even think how Tonks must be feeling now,” he whispered trying not to wake the little guy. “Have you ever looked after a baby before? I mean, it feels a little like looking out of Crookshanks besides the diaper situation but I’m probably oversimplifying.”
