woke up this morning, rolled over, and very confidently tried to blow out my alarm clock like a candle. absolutely no precedent for that.

Getting a several months head start on my Drawfee inspired annual portrait redraw by finally trying to figure out how to draw MitterMak from the front! I think I prefer the lower hair shape which is meant as a more direct translation of the 3/4 design, a more "true" three dimensional shape, but I really really like the iconic mickey mouse style silhouette of cheating to keep the same hair shape with the curlicue sticking out the side at every angle. Much to consider.

The comparison of the last two years is also still very funny to me. They're practically identical, but I feel like 2023 has a certain warmth that I dropped in 2024 for a fully vacant, almost frantic stare. We'll see what the vibe is like for 2025!

the applications will stay open from now until june 1st, with acceptance messages hopefully sent out by june 15th, mostly depending on how many applications we get!
