My complete alphabet of dog breeds. 🐶. It’s great to see them put together like this 🥰. This is my first complete project and it taught me a great deal about perseverance. Having a goal to strive for gives us a direction, but it is the process/journey towards that goal that matters most. I had a lot of fun drawing some of the breeds because they are just too funny. I also had difficulties drawing furs/hairs and some emotions/expressions. At the same time, I tried what I could to make each of the dog as unique as possible, i.e, the activities they did, the angles I drew them from, the stories I wanted to tell. All of these experiments are all great lessons.

F is for Finnish Spitz.

G is for Great Dane. . . “I demand a pool that fits my size!”. .

H is for Hokkaido. The Hokkaido is a purebred dog from Japan and this breed is somewhat rare outside of its native country. Hokkaido dogs look pretty similar to other Japanese dogs like Shiba, Akita and Kishu dogs. I can only tell the difference by closely examining their photos, but to me they are all like a cute dog, another cute dog, oh another cute one. Lol.

I is for Irish Wolfhound. . “I’m big and sweet With me you’re safe.” . Despite their imposing size and appearance, Irish Wolfhounds are sweet-tempered, introverted and reserved. They were bred to hunt wolves in Ireland centuries ago. As the number of wolves in The country decreased, the demand for Irish Wolfhounds dropped and they nearly became extinct.
