We’ve always had to specify “Women’s World Championship”, like the men’s title was the default, so Hangman started emphasizing “Men’s World Championship” to make a point. And now him actually being announced that way? That’s so awesome.

I feel like if AEW had less faith in their performers and Jon Moxley in particular they would have given in to the critics and pulled the plug on the deathriders stuff like they did with the new Elite taking the company angle and destroyed any possible chance of building momentum.

People were SO angry and the thing is that… no one ever looks at the big picture. Like, when Cope lost against Moxley, no one could stop talking about how AEW was “officially dead”. And I remember people here were calm because we all knew this was gonna lead to Hangman or Will winning. Sometimes people on other social media places (especially X and Facebook) are way too impulsive, and are the same people than then say “AEW don’t do long term storylines”.
