"In Italy, women rallied behind a version called #QuellaVoltaChe, which translates to “That time when,” while French women decided to out their harassers by name under #BalanceTonPorc, which roughly translates to “snitch out your pig.”"
As this was a quote I had used previously throughout the week I think how important it is. It speaks volumes truly on the impact of the #MeToo Movement nationally and as a whole in general. Something that in French that might be on the vulgar terms but stands no chance against on what this movement stands for.

As we have discussed Intersectionality this week I think it is good for us to highlight the point of the matter of how much it plays apart in our identities. Bringing in the idea especially communities such as thee Neurodivergent, it plays a truly heavy rule in equality in America and in ourselves.

To talk about Intersectionality, I felt as if this created the perfect defintion of it. Watching this video you get a true understanding of it while tying in the true idea of race and gender bias. Especially based out of the content that was this week it brought a better understanding as a whole.

Tumblr media
I think this truly plays a role especially as of this week as we have spoken about activism in media. Especially with the subject of Palestine which this photo is showing. An illustration the press showing the survivors. Trying to advocate for themselves in a time where it seems that their is a for sure lacking in that most definitely from others. This is what gets broadcasted into other countries creating that national activism they need. Spreading the word in a country that has been silenced for way to long. Bringing people to media as talked about this week a lot of inspiration from things such as the Black Lives Matter movement, as we talked about this week; this change gave us a voice. Making people more confident in the media.
Keep Speaking Up. Free Palestine.

Politics and Facebook
It is interesting to see how Facebook has been able to handle the political movements behind what they have created due to the distribution of news through there program. Especially with the negative effects as well, hosting these townhalls I feel as if bring some type of humanity as a whole to the people that lead Facebook and bring it to life. As usually people have been considered to be more so just statistics. Even in the conversation, it increased general civil engagement as a whole creating more so a trusting relationship during a time of untrust when it comes to news espeically with the "Fake News" narrative that has came in politics specifically from Facebook. It spawned truly Trump's downfall in my opinion, not really even a big supporter in him myself but from just an unbiased opinion. Even with the article itself it details the step by step on how to effectively particapate in the Town Hall as showed in the article from this week's assignment.
