✅ Vetted by @savefami ✅ Vetted by @happaliff ✅ Vetted by @atjekmck
I don’t know how to explain this pain in words. But if you’re reading this, I need you to listen. 25 of my family members are gone. The war didn’t just take their lives—it took our future.
We are still fighting to survive. With no home, no income, and nowhere safe to go, we are asking for your kindness.

💔 $5,000 for the father. 💔 $5,000 for the mother. 💔 $2,500 for Khaled. 💔 $2,500 for Intesar. 📌 The rest will help us hold on to what little we have left.

URGENT CAMPAIGN
Please read the post above me, this is a campaign for @shamelesssheepcloud, who has reached out to me asking for help.
I am here to ask for help in sharing/collecting donations for this campaign.
If you are able to donate please do so, the people of Gaza are just like you and I, forced into unimaginable tragedy, and in dire need of basic necessities. Please, put yourself in their shoes, and give what you can to those in need. Any small contribution can be life changing.
Please donate and share as much as you can, thank you.
A Plea from the Heart: I Am Fatima, and This Is My Story
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My name is Fatima, a teacher from Gaza. I used to work in a small school I loved dearly, planting hope in the hearts of children and teaching them that tomorrow could be better. But the war took everything away. My school was bombed, I lost my job, and our home was reduced to rubble. Yet, I refused to give up. I set up a small tent amid the destruction and continued teaching children, showing them that knowledge is a light that cannot be extinguished, even in the darkest times.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My husband, Akram, was my partner and pillar of support. But he was severely injured in an attack targeting civilians. His abdominal injuries are so severe that he can no longer work or even lift basic items. Every day, I see the pain in his eyes and feel the weight of helplessness, but I try to stay strong for him and for our children.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our eldest, Manar, is four years old, and she’s missing out on her childhood amidst this devastation. Our youngest, Ibrahim, was born under bombardment just a year ago. He has suffered greatly due to the lack of milk and proper medical care. Yet, sometimes, he smiles, and in those brief moments, I find the strength to keep going.
We now live in a fragile tent that doesn’t shield us from the cold or rain. Every day is a new battle for survival. I write these words while holding my children’s hands, with nothing left but my faith in God and the hope that your kind hearts will hear our plea.
Tumblr media
Please help us provide milk and food for our children, ease Akram’s pain, and rebuild even a small part of the life the war has destroyed. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference in our lives.
I ask you to share our story and be our support during this harsh and unforgiving time.

Video: Hossam Al-Qazzaz has recently given us a glimpse of a day in the life of his family through a video he sent to us, featuring his infant daughter Habiba, son Bashar, and other daughter Diana. Despite their living conditions, Hossam does his best to keep his children's spirits high.
@hanon-qazaz
Story written by @rumiandroses
Imagine being born into a world where the first sounds you hear are explosions, the hum of drones, and the cries of your family fleeing for their lives. This is the reality for Habiba Al-Qazzaz, a precious baby girl who has known nothing but war, displacement, and hunger in her short life. Born in Gaza amidst the ongoing conflict that began on October 7, 2023, Habiba has spent much of her existence so far in uncertainty, hunger, and fear.
This precious little girl is not even a year old, and already, she has suffered through unimaginable hardship.
Her parents, Hossam and Hanan Al-Qazzaz, are doing everything they can to care for Habiba and her three siblings—Bashar (9), Hani (8), and Diana (4). But the relentless devastation of Gaza’s infrastructure has made survival nearly impossible. With no stable income and essential supplies priced beyond reach, the Al-Qazzaz family is fighting a daily battle just to keep their children warm, fed, and safe.
Their GoFundMe campaign has been their only lifeline, allowing them to afford the most basic necessities—food, water, milk for Habiba. Yet despite the thousands of people who have seen and shared their plea, donations have been coming in at a painfully slow pace. Since last year, they have managed to raise only €2,000, an amount tragically short of their €55,000 goal—the sum they had hoped would allow them to evacuate to Egypt with Hossam’s elderly parents and start anew.
Forced to Live on Top of Rubble
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Images: (Top) Bashar, Hani, and Diana, still able to smile in spite of the devastation they've been forced to endure. (Bottom) Hossam Al-Qazzaz, as he does his best to clear their destroyed home of debris to make it slightly more suitable for habitation.
As time passed and donations fell short, the family was forced to abandon their dreams of escape. Instead, they now live atop the ruins of their destroyed home, sheltered only by a fragile tent that does little to protect them from the cold, roaming animals, or the ever-present danger of violence. Their reality is bleak, and their options are running out.
On February 8, 2025, Hanan reached out to us with an update on her family's condition:
Tumblr media
Image: Hanan's update message to us, informing us of her family's current condition.
The freezing temperatures persist. Her children are crying for warmth in a shelter that provides no protection from the elements.
This is Not a Call for Comfort—It’s a Plea for Survival!
The Al-Qazzaz family is NOT asking for luxuries. They are asking for the bare minimum:
🧤🧣Warmth for their children.
🍞💧 Food and clean water.
🚪A secure shelter.
With further violence looming, the time to act is NOW.
How You Can Help
🔹 Donate to the Al-Qazzaz Family’s GoFundMe to help provide food, warmth, and shelter for Habiba and her family. Every contribution—no matter how small—makes an impact. [DONATE HERE] 🍞💧🍼🧦🧣🧤🏥
🔹 Support the Chuffed Campaign created by our founder, Bethany-Grace, as an additional fundraiser to help the family rebuild their lives. This ensures they don’t have to choose between saving money for the future and feeding their children today. [DONATE HERE] 🌱🏠🛫🕊️
🔹 If you cannot donate, PLEASE share this post. The more people see their story, the greater the chance of reaching someone who can help. EVERY like, share, and repost helps.
The Al-Qazzaz family’s campaign has been vetted by @gazavetters and is #287 on their list of verified campaigns.
A Family of Resilience and Kindness
Hossam Al-Qazzaz is also the cousin of Falestine Asad, another courageous individual struggling to keep her infant child safe in war-torn Gaza. Both Hossam and Falestine are some of the kindest and humblest people you will ever meet. If you can, we encourage you to view and share both of their campaigns, and to donate if possible.
Together, we can help the Al-Qazzaz family find the security, warmth, and stability they so desperately need.
Tumblr media
No child should have to suffer like these poor babies have.
Let’s all be part of the reason they make it through another day, and into a brighter, more peaceful future. 🙏🏻🕊️💗

This is what I thought, too - but of course Haviv Rettig Gur expresses it better than I could.
Tumblr media
I'm sorry beyond words and thought to say this, but I'm starting to think Hamas has frozen the hostage deal because the world was horrified at the condition of the hostages released on Saturday.
We've been hearing from those released that the remaining hostages are in worse condition than they were. Hamas may have concluded it's too costly to release them.
Forgive me, truly. But what if Hamas are already killing them because they're no longer valuable alive?
If that's happening, then Hamas - or what remains of them, without their core strategists Sinwar and Deif - no longer see a way out of the trap. What if they're now building a strategy around pretending the hostages are still alive but don't actually intend to have any to release?
Please convince me this isn't the case.

Finally, my friends, today the ceasefire has been reached 🤚🔥 and the waterfall of bleeding has stopped 19-1-2025. This is a day of joy filled with pain and sadness 😔🥺 because our homes have become piles of stones 🏠☄ and without work and our children are sick and their health has deteriorated and we cannot return to it again. I thank everyone who supported me and my family during that period, but I hope that you will continue your support so that I can rebuild my home again and travel to treat my daughter and perform a cochlear implant for her ears 👂 and restore her hearing that was lost due to the war and bring happiness to her soul like the rest of the children of the world. I hope that you will share my voice and that your support for my family will continue so that we can regain our lives again. Thank you again and share my campaign and donate to us, my beloved 🙏🏻https://www.gofundme.com/f/hani-al-sharif-and-family
"I am Hani Al-Sharif from Gaza 🍉. I support a family of 7 people. My wife and children (Tala, Razan, Lina, Saba, and Muhammad). I have a gofundme campaign that I created for my daughter Razan, who lost her hearing in the war and needs a cochlear implant, and also to protect my family from hunger, and get them out of the danger of the war in Gaza 🍉. We live in very difficult circumstances. Help me, we are still far from achieving our dream. I hope everyone will donate even a little. I am confident that you will stand with me and support me until I achieve my daughter’s dream of regaining her hearing again Share my story"
These are words from @electroniccatreview, who has reached out to me asking for help in rebuilding lives.
I would like to ask anyone who is able to donate to please do so. The people of Gaza are just like you and I, forced into unimaginable tragedy, and in need of basic necessities they are being denied. If you are able to, please give what you can, any donation big or small goes a long way;
Please visit @electroniccatreview, share the account, posts, story and campaign.
Thank you for having humanity.

Traumatized in Ireland While my Family is Facing Death and Starvation in Gaza
Note: Vetted by:
1. @el-shab-hussein and @nabulsi # 151 on the spreadsheet of Vetted Gaza Fundraisers List]
2. @riding-with-the-wild-hunt Here .
I contemplate the happy faces of people around me here in Ireland and reminisce about the happy normal life my family and I had before the war. A life that turned into a distant memory for us and was replaced by an unending series of horrible nightmares.
Unlike my family in Gaza, people here have access to drinking water, all types of food, electricity, and a roof over their heads. Above all, they are safe, and I cannot help but wonder if they genuinely do appreciate these blessings in their lives enough.
People seem relaxed and laughing wholeheartedly around me in Ireland. I wish I could laugh too, but I am crushed way beyond recovery on the inside. I was evacuated by my Irish college after five months of living the horrors of war in Gaza. I hope you will never know what it feels like to live in constant fear and worry and be horrified by the most sickening and scary nightmares every single night while you are far away from your family in such circumstances.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When did my people in Gaza cease to be human beings worthy and deserving of a normal life? Has it become normal now for my family in Gaza to be starved and killed while the whole world is watching the genocide? If that is the case, then you will have to excuse me if I seek every avenue to bring them to Ireland and start a new normal life like all people here around me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was assured by the Irish Reugee Council (IRC) and lawyers in Ireland that there is hope I can reunite with my family in Ireland. In difficult times, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For me and my family, you are literally our light and hope for a better life.
SOS!
Please donate, reblog and share.

🚨🟢 BREAKING - Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Obeida:
During the past three weeks, the resistance leadership has monitored the enemy's violations and failure to abide by the terms of the agreement; from delaying the return of the displaced to the northern Gaza Strip, targeting them with shelling and gunfire
in various areas of the Strip, and not allowing the entry of relief supplies in all their forms according to what was agreed upon, while the resistance has implemented all its obligations.
Accordingly, the handover of the zionist captives who were scheduled to be released next Saturday, corresponding to 15/2/2025, will be postponed until further notice, and until the occupation commits to and compensates for the entitlements of the past weeks retroactively, and we affirm our commitment to the terms of the agreement as long as the occupation commits to them.

The hibiscus flower is one of the symbols the Sudanese people culturally identify with the most, for its widespread cultivation throughout Sudan and for Karkade, a beverage that is largely consumed in Sudan, made with the infusion of dried hibiscus petals.
If you didn't know, the war in Sudan, which started after the deposition of its last government in 2021, is gravely endangering the Sudanese civilians: millions were already displaced since 2023, entire villages and several millions still face displacement, while all the factions at play in the war continue fighting without any care for the civilian's safety and human rights. Right now, Sudan is largely considered to be facing the biggest and most dangerous humanitarian crisis in the world.

TIME SENSITIVE: PLEASE READ
Most of you will have heard of the negotiations on the ceasefire deal by now. While it is certainly cause for joy, we must remember that this is not the end of the fight. A ceasefire is only for the people of Palestine. To the rest of us, it is a sign to keep fighting, even harder now. We must keep going until Palestine is fully free.
While we're at it, my friend Mahmoud (@ma7moudgaza2) (vetting link) still needs your help! Mahmoud is a skilled web designer from Gaza (here's his portfolio) and he's worked extremely hard to get to where he is right now, to study and sit for his exams amidst the genocide.
While there is always the cost of food and drink, Mahmoud also needs help with paying his registration fee to pursue his education further.
Tumblr media
We all came through for him last year and helped him get enough money to sit for his exams. I believe we can do it again!
GOAL: $800 BY TOMORROW- TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
CURRENTLY $225/$800

‼️‼️
If you're having trouble keeping up with what's going on in Palestine because of US news coverage of university protests, here are some articles you can read and a video you can watch:
youtube
While CNN & all the other mainstream media try to paint the university protests as "pro terrorism" (which they're not, they're literally anti-war protests.) Palestinians are being slaughtered by the minute.
Please don't stop speaking about Palestine.
