Hey so miraculous theory

What if they're introducing Sublime to be the new butterfly holder when/if they get that miraculous back?

My points:

1) She seems kind of significant in a way the other new side characters dont

2) Thomas Astruc cannot give Adrien anything so Sublime has to be there for some deeper reason

3) People are saying she could be a friend of Lila's, and while I'm not ruling that out, I feel like that is a bit too convenient

4) It could be a way for Marinette to "redeem herself" for breaking Sublimes prosthesics (like a full circle moment) because everyone knows that Marinette can do no wrong and is perfect (sarcasm)

BAHAHA bet you weren't expecting this...so i actually was going to design Emperor today but I instead decided it would be more fun to only have them show up as this being that floats in the sky to broadcast messages. That way I can keep Emperor more mysterious, like what they're doing with season 6. This form is how they present publicly, like Hawk Moth at the end of season 4 when he seized all the miraculous.

As for information about this mini prequel thing, it takes place just after Lila has stolen the butterfly miraculous. Plagg returns to Adrien, who meets up with Ladybug, and they sit in their rooftop spot while Emperor makes her first public address. This is happening 2 years prior to the start of the Allies AU.

I have no consistency at all so uploads won't be at a regular pace, you could get like three updates in a row and then hear nothing from me for like three months, and if that happens I'm really sorry.

Cat Noir redesign

Right so first things first, please ignore how odd Cat Noirs face looks in the full body drawing, I drew that at 4am and by the time I realised how wack it looked I was half way through colouring...at nearly 5am.

So after the whole "Monarch is my dad, also he killed himself" debacle, Adrien wanted a whole new look as Cat Noir. Sure, the pre-life altering discovery version was charming and got the people of Paris swooning, it just didn't feel like him anymore. Some days he didn't have the energy to be funny or flirty. So that's how this costume came about! He's got longer, shaggier hair, baggier clothes, and a repeated rip motif. He actually changed his costume before Ladybug changed hers, and she thought he had renounced his miraculous before he taught her to do it too (I might write that in a fic scenario type post in between lore drops). He insisted on keeping that stupid bell, which serves as a reminder that he's still funny and sweet despite everything he's been through.

Also Adrien now canonically in this AU wears guy liner and dresses childish because ✨️he's coping✨️

Tikki and Plagg redesigns!!

Hi so sorry I've been awol the last few days, I'm moving house next week and have to pack my copious amounts of stuff, but I finally got around to colouring some of my drawings so here are my Tikki and Plagg redesigns!

So for Tikki, I've never really liked how she looked in the show because she just looks like a red and black spotted blob with eyes. Like, don't get me wrong, she's still cute, but I just wish she looked more like a ladybug, which is what I tried to do here. In my AU's Canon the kwami are all powerful beings sort of like gods, so they can choose how they present themselves, and I like to think Tikki took some inspiration from Marinettes vibrant blue hair. I also gave her this very 60s hair cut because she had a holder in the 60s and just loved the style of the time (I kind of want to draw the 60s holder now help)

OK so my marker quality is kind of shitty, meaning that the fineliner did bleed a little, but I still think Plagg looks cute. He looks close enough to how he did in the show because its easier to make a tiny talking cat creature than a tiny talking ladybug creature apparently but I really wanted to amp up the cute to kind of juxtapose his destructive capabilities. Also I gave him a top hat because he's a tiny gentleman :)

Those are my Plagg and Tikki redesigns! I will be posting my Cat Noir/Adrien redesigns probably directly after this, but after that I will start expanding more on my AU's lore rather than just redesigning already Canon characters. I wanna introduce you guys to all 19 of my OCs (I wish I was joking there's a lot of them).
