Andre's a sly one. He blatantly knows Cat is Adrien, after witnessing the transformation at the end of S3, and he just dropped truth right in front of Marinette. 'You're supposed to be in love with Adrien Agreste.' Cat's face...! As if Andre didn't know EXACTLY what he was doing.

My favourite headcanon about Emilie Agreste is that she's actually batshit insane.
Like most of we've heard about her is the same old bland "perfect-mum-and-wife" thing, but every so often we get something, usually from Gabriel, that sort of indicates otherwise? "He's like his mother, way too overly dramatic", "Quite the temper, you remind me of someone".
In season six, presumably they will have just accepted that Emilie is also dead, and I really really want them to do like a running gag of like:
Adrien: yeah my mom was always so wise and sensible.
Nathalie: *shifty look*
*flashback to Emilie Agreste, 27, at a party, yelling "I BET YOU TEN QUID I CAN CLIMB UP TO THE CHANDELIER FROM HERE AND SWING ON IT LIKE IN THE SONG!!!!!!" while holding a glass of wine in one hand and baby Adrien in the other*
Nathalie:... Yes.
That would just be so funny to me.

I never really noticed this before (mostly because I haven’t rewatched this episode) but the color here is crazy.
Emilie (or Kagami representing Emilie) is in a blue room with Paris being orange. And Amelie (or Felix representing Amelie) is in an orange room and London is blue.
Now upon first glance, you feel more the temperature of the colors, and storytelling wise, the colors would seem to convey Emelie in a cold environment, despite marrying for love, and Amelie in a warm enviroment, despite knowing it was arranged and he was abusive. It’s poetically different. And slightly strange, as their environments tells us a different story.
But then I thought about it a different way. Emelie was an adventurer. She wanted to travel and see the WORLD. Amelie gave up everything for her FAMILY and being the heiress.
My eyes are quite quickly drawn to things in light contrasting the darker colder blue. Bringing things into focus. Emelies focus lies outside of her home at the WORLD, at Paris, the city of love. As if she still longs for adventure and is trapped inside. And Amelie’s focus lies inside with her FAMILY that she gives everything for, no matter how hard it is or what abuse she may have to face.
The windows have a story as well. As Emelies window is smaller and thinner, with less space between the bars. We know Adrien’s deepest fear is being contained and locked away. Maybe he shared that with his mother. But Amelie’s (like Adrien’s) window is big. Giving a sense of freedom. Perhaps, that freedom was allotted, or just an illusion for more control.
I think this can give interesting depth into these characters, and subsequently, the children they made. And why they made the discussions they did, such as Amelie’s devotion to her son despite not fully understanding. Or perhaps, some secrets of the Agreste household, where things never seem to be what you think.

why is no one talking about master fu potentially being the supreme in shadybug/claw noir universe
Picture this:
Our universe, Master Fu uses the peacock to get food, he's hungry, he ends up creating feast and destroys the temple by accident.
But in shadybug and claw noir's universe, what if he did it ON PURPOSE??
WHAT IF, Master Fu is angry that he has to spend his life training to be a guardian, he is full of spite, so he grabs the peacock miraculous, creates feast, destroys the temple, grabs the miraculous and runs. Then he decides to study up, use the miraculous for evil and becomes the supreme.
From what I remember, Master Fu claims to have not wanted to actually be a guardian. This might roll over into the other universe as well.
Betterfly mentions around the middle of the special that he stole the miraculous from "him". Shadybug and Claw Noir were given a miraculous from the supreme.
Idk it's just a theory but I am curious as to who and what the supreme is? What do you think?

the supreme
Tumblr media
When they’re fighting Shadybug Yells at Clawnoir that she’ll be the one the supreme spares. So let’s talk about that the Supreme is having literal children fight over who gets to live and they don’t act like that’s the biggest issue what other things are they dealing with right now

Now we know that there are billions of other universes, I think that plays a HUGE toll on Adrien in the finale. He saw the nightmare of Anticat holding a crumbling Ladybug. He knows about other universes. He knows that this is a very real thing that could have happened. And that's why he was so easily (but painfully) convinced to stay out of the final battle.

* something that I’ve only just started thinking about recently is how in-universe, nobody knew what the miraculous were or how they worked, even though people had been looking for them since at least the 1940’s, in WWII I’m thinking: Master Fu, after WWII, made a wish to erase the knowledge of the miraculous from everyone’s minds
Tumblr media Tumblr media
* that doesn’t mean they never existed, or that they were never used, it’s just that after the point in time where he made the wish, nobody was able to remember them
* but since he made the wish, there had to be a reaction to his action, so I think in exchange for “everyone will forget about the miraculous”, someone would have to learn about them again at some point, and that someone was Nathalie Sancoeur
Tumblr media
* look, I don’t exactly know how or when Nathalie would’ve learned about the miraculous, but before the events of the series she was a hunter of magical artifacts. She could’ve found something relating to the miraculous, and decided to try and find more info about them.
* where and when she would’ve done that, I don’t know, but that doesn’t rule out the idea (at least to me)
Tumblr media
* now according to the show bible, Tomoe was the one who introduced Nathalie to Gabriel and Emilie. Since the bible is outdated in certain areas (especially with Nathalie), this could also be outdated, but for the sake of this argument I’ll imagine that it isn’t
Tumblr media
* what I think could’ve happened is that Nathalie learned about the peacock miraculous, and she told Tomoe (how they’re connected, idk, but whatever) about this, and so in turn Tomoe told her about the Agrestes and that Nathalie should be the one to help them out
Tumblr media
* Gabriel, Emilie, and Nathalie would’ve met afterwards, and then the rest is history
Tumblr media
* maybe I’m just reaching in all this, I don’t know lmao, but it was fun to think about, so

the theory of miraculous being a loop makes me want to gag.
NO.
no one is going to tell me that my cinnamon roll sunshine boy adrien agreste is going to become hawkmoth and terrorize two fourteen year olds in the future. no one is going to tell me that marinette dupain-cheng is going to be basically fucking dead lying in a coffin sitting in her husbands basement. no one is going to tell me that adrien agreste is going to be a neglectful father to his children. and no one is going to tell me that adrien agreste is going to sort of fall in love with his assistant.
i literally cant deal with this today. but i mean, it won’t happen, right? there’s no fucking way. the peacock miraculous isn’t damaged now, so how else would mari get sick? cause of a different damaged miraculous? i don’t know. but it can’t be. IT CANT BE OMG. if it is i’m actually gonna sue zag.

um miraculous ladybug spoilers but my theory is amelie was gabriel's wife and felix was his son and they didn't listen to him enough so he made sentimonster clones of them (Emily and Adrien) and that's why there are two rings

'Perfect' White
We can't have failed to notice that in S5 Gabriel has gone all white...like Cat Blanc. So my wheels got spinning and here I am, exploring the symbolism of this 'colour'.
Many viewers will link white to ideas of innocence, cleanliness or peace. Maybe even holiness - think angels. We've even seen Adrien wearing angel wings, in 'Simpleman'.
I once read an excellent analysis, I forget by whom, suggesting that Adrien is often in white to show that he's a blank slate, waiting to be written on. We even get the word 'blank' from the Latin root of the French 'blanc', meaning white. Taking this further, we could see it as Adrien not yet being certain of his own identity.
White is also linked with virginity - think of the Western European wedding dress colour. Applying this symbolically, Adrien begins the story inexperienced and naive, kept ignorant of the ways of the world. He also takes things at face value. But this is definitely changing.
I see irony, as well, because the angelic public image of Adrien hides his 'darker' thoughts and impulses. White is often linked to simplicity, and Adrien is perhaps most fascinating for being so much more complicated than anyone in his life believes.
We could also see virginity as not being 'used' yet, and this is ironic too because Adrien is used left and right, by both his father and by Ladybug.
And of course white is honesty. Nothing has been hidden. Adrien is typically the most honest one on the show and the most open with his feelings. An interesting fact I didn't know before some quick research today is that in ancient Rome, public officials wore white, and their robes were called 'candidus', which gives us the word 'candidate' but also 'candid' meaning honest and frank (because politicians never lie...???). We'll come back to this later.
White also indicates being innocent of sins or crimes. It tells us Adrien is a victim.
So why is Gabriel all in white?
Tumblr media
Let's start with the obvious. Scientifically, white is both the source and absence of all colour.
On the one hand, we could see Gabriel in white as him trying to swallow up everything else - think of how colourful the kwamis are, and the way Gabriel tries to consume his son.
Or we could see it as his coldness. Think of the Hans Christian Andersen's Snow Queen, adapted as Elsa in 'Frozen' - or 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. White is ice. We also saw this with Cat Blanc - we all talk about his 'ice-blue eyes' in fan fics.
But Gabriel's white could also be the antithesis of Cat Noir - white versus black. Gabriel is trapped in s state of mind that Adrien is gradually leaving behind.
Another thing I didn't know is that author Robert Graves tied white with the moon goddess, who in mythology is usually said to have three faces, standing for the stages of life - childhood (waxing), motherhood (the full moon), and old age (waning). I think Gabriel's powers are beginning to wane. And although it's a stretch to say the writers of Miraculous had Graves in mind, there is so much moon symbolism tied into the show that I thought this was interesting to think on nonetheless.
Getting heavier, let's travel around the world to places like China, where white is the colour of mourning and worn at funerals. This makes white the colour of sadness, which ties up with Cat Blanc's months of grief and loneliness - but also Gabriel, who literally lives in a mausoleum for his wife and refuses to let go. Suddenly dressing all in white tells us he's gone all in. This is endgame. He's totally embodying his grief. And with white being tied to the end of life, it's a sign that the end of this particular story is nigh.
Now let's remember the old saying that 'Death rides a pale horse'. This comes from the depiction of the Apocalypse found in The Book of Revelation, at the end of the Bible. In fact, in Celtic tradition, if you see a pure white animal (especially if it has red ears), it's supernatural and not to be trusted. White is otherworldly and unnatural - about as unnatural as Gabriel making banana pancakes, amiright?
Gabriel is also straddling life and death. He's been cataclysmed and is now rotting away before our eyes. He's on that pale horse and has nothing left to lose.
There’s also a suggestion of the unknown - going back to that idea of being a blank slate, Gabriel is a wild card here. When someone like that gets truly desperate, we can no longer predict what he will do. Forcing a cataclysm on himself was definitely the start of this.
Coming back to the notion of honesty - we could apply this ironically to Gabriel, who, in his new white suit, recently shook hands with Nino, as if they were partners working against a common enemy.
On that note, let's look again at the Latin 'candidus'. This was considered the brightest shade of white, and it gives us the word 'candle'. So, white can be illuminating. We can see this as Adrien heading towards understanding, revelation. Gabriel is posing in the colour of honesty and innocence, but Adrien is soon to see through the pancakes.
On the other hand, Gabriel is slipping into a state of ignorance. He has never gained anything from all this power because he no longer understands love. He claims to do all this for Emilie, but it's gone far, far beyond that goal. He has reached the point of seeking power for power's sake.
He could learn a few lessons from Adrien, who reprised his Cat Blanc costume in 'Jubilation', this time worn as a wedding suit. It stands out because in European-style weddings the bride wears white but not the groom. The dream was a vision of grief and heartache being transmutated into something pure and beautiful - and of new starts. The slate had been wiped clean, ready for a new story to be written.
This leads me to think of the levels of karate. A lot of people don't realise that after the black belt, there's a higher level - the white belt. It's a sign of humility. Returning to the beginning shows an understanding that we never truly master anything. We're always learning. So Adrien moving from white (Alliance and other ads) to black (Cat Noir) to white again (the wedding vision) tells us he's completed one journey and is now applying the lessons he's learned to his next journey in life.
Of course, it was only a dream because he's not there yet. He needs to learn and deal with the truth about his father first. But all of this is coming.
Because white is the light at the end of the tunnel. As much as my son likes to say the Netflix show tags should now be 'grief', 'child abuse' and 'trauma', I truly see hope in every scene. White wipes the slate clean. Our favourite couple are so close to not a happy ending but a happy new beginning.

Thinking on how they placed a whole special mid-season 5, I wonder if it’s safe to assume that the Brazil special will also take place in this season.
We get Luka leaving with Jagged and Penny, pictures of them in Brazil at the end of Migration, then no more news about them, and suddenly, in the finale, they’re fighting against the Miraculized people, seemingly fully trained by Master Su-Han, who wasn’t seen since Multiplication.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For what reason wouldn’t we know anything about them for so long? And how did they even meet the Celestial Guardian in a whole other continent? Not to mention how Luka is aware of Bunnix and that she isn’t supposed to interfere with the timeline.
Tumblr media
If it’s the case, my bet is that this special will give us some insight about their situation and answer our questions, there’s really a lot of potential here.

My Miraculous fan theories on what's next for Lila
Tumblr media
Season 6 guesses: We learn Cerise/Lila's backstory. At the end of the season all of her identities are expose. She reveals to Adrien that his dad was Hawkmoth. The season will end with Adrien getting akumatized into Cat Blanc.
Season 7 guesses: Cat Blanc turns on Chrysalis. With all of her identities now known she teams up with The Supreme in the season finale.
Season 8 guesses: She teams up with Ladybug against The Supreme. Also the timeline will probably split off from "TimeTagger".
