˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ Boba Tea Tales Legacy Challenge ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚

We decided to create our own legacy one day as a community effort and so the Boba Tea Tales Legacy was born. This legacy is meant to give you new ideas for storylines and introduce you to new gameplay that you never really thought about doing yourself. 

Remember that this challenge isn’t meant to restrict you entirely. You are allowed to make some changes to the rules to fit your gameplay. It’s all about having fun!

BASE GAME VERSION

General Rules

Each generation will represent 1-3 colors. You must dress up your sim and decorate their houses in their color theme. OPTIONAL: match their hair color and eye color to the theme colors.

Complete each given skill, career, and aspiration unless the goals state otherwise.

Starting budget: 1k-20k simoleons (you decide your amount!)

Play on whatever lifespan YOU feel comfortable playing on.

No money cheats unless stated otherwise!

If you roll a topping that gives you twins or triplets, you ARE allowed to cheat for them so your sim is  guaranteed to have twins or triplets.

Toppings

You must roll a topping each generation for your 3rd trait and minimum kid requirements.

Generation 1: Brown Sugar

You loved cooking all your life. You loved creating and growing your own fresh ingredients for your dishes. However, as time went on in your life, you felt like something was missing. You are starting to burn out of this busy life so you decide to quit your job, pack up everything, and move to a whole new world. Maybe the simplicity of the country lifestyle is what you truly wanted all this time?

Colors: Brown & White Aspiration: Master Chef & Expert Nectar Maker Career: Restaurant Owner & Nectar Making Traits: glutton, animal enthusiast Skills: cooking, gardening, nectar making

Goals: 

Roll for a random topping to get your 3rd trait & kid requirements

Run a restaurant and get to at least 3 stars (you are allowed to use money cheats to afford the restaurant) before you quit

Move to Chestnut Ridge as an adult and start making money through nectar making

Marry a sim with the Rancher trait

Adopt at least 1 ranch animal

Complete half of the Master Chef aspiration

Complete Expert Nectar Maker aspiration 

Max out the cooking, gardening, and nectar making skills

Generation 2: Blueberry

You lived a comfortable life growing up on the farm with your family. You go into the business career because you knew it was a simple job that pays decently well. However, everyday was the same. Wakeup, get ready for work, get back home, sleep, and repeat. You’re tired of that. You quit your job all together and with the money you saved up, you decide to start traveling the world! You start a new channel for your traveling adventures and pick up odd jobs to keep doing what you love.

Colors: Blue & Purple Aspiration: Beach Life & Mt. Komorebi Sightseer Career: Business & Odd Jobs & Media Production Traits: non-committal, loves the outdoors Skills: fitness, rock climbing, media production

Goals:

Reach level 3 of the Business career before you start vacationing

Make money through odd jobs and travel vlogs (media production) once you quit the Business career

Generation 3: Matcha

Growing up, you traveled everywhere with your parent and you saw them struggling with money. You knew you didn’t want that for yourself so you studied as much as you could to get into university. You would do anything to get ahead in your career until you bump into your work rival who ruins your plans. You try to befriend them and pursue them thinking it will benefit you. However, you start catching feelings for them. What will you do? Fall in love or break their hearts?

Your parent made you pick up the violin and piano as a child. Turns out, you’re really good at it and you love music! You introduce them to your family, but they do not approve of your partner because they don’t fit the ideal lifestyle your parent had for you. With the disapproval from your parent(s), will you continue to follow their ideal lifestyle for you or follow your own passion?

While you’re not on the dance floor, you love mixing drinks that you would love to share with your future partner one day.

You struggle with a part time job as you dedicate most of your time to your child and this stray cat you found one day, but eventually, you are able to go back to university and pursue your dream career!

The infant’s update was released, and a lot of us have been playing and adoring them, including me, the player that usually speeds the clock to my game kids grow up fast.

These cute little guys need a lot of love so I’m releasing my first set focused on kids.

This set started with the Cribs. I saw this acrylic one many months ago and swear that I almost bought it for my dog. So I waited for the patch and tried to create it but, as any crib has an alpha layer(the mesh layer that allows us to add transparency), I had to almost construct an item from scratch to get this on the game, and love it so much!

I even thought of releasing this set with some toddler items but there are plenty of items that I want to create for toddlers now so maybe a next set focused on toddlers’ stuff.

You will get with this 22 new items and 3 new wallpapers;

I tried to focus on the Cribs and I really want a Crib that I could decorate by myself so I made a separate mattress, pillows, and even a blanket to place on it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to add more slots to the cribs so I recommend placing the crib first and decorating it when you are sure about the crib position;

INTO THE LIGHT

This is long overdue. My Out Of The Dark mod is more than one and a half years old now, and I’ve been testing and tweaking with something similar, but for sims instead of walls, floors and objects. And here it is!  Well, it’s on early access on Patreon for now, but will be coming out Friday, November 29th.

@luumia released NoGlo, a mod similar to this one, a long time ago, and that’s where most of my inspiration has come from. But, much similar to his NoBlu mod, it wasn’t exactly what i wanted (as you can see from the comparison pictures above), so I made my own. If you choose to use Into The Light, remove NoGlo first, as they will conflict with each other.

This will remove the blue “aura” that surrounds sims when they’re in a dark space, and with “dark space” I mean “any space at all”. By default, the game overzealously illuminates them all of the time with this artificial blue light that makes them stick from the rest of the world like a sore thumb, and it’s even worse in dark rooms, where they just glow inexplicably. 

Into The Light gives sims a softer, less corpse-like look, with more faithful colors. It also increases the saturation from the sunlight, which pulls Sims into the world even more when they’re outdoors. And it works really well with my Out Of The Dark mod, which removes the blue tint from the rest of the game and helps bring everything together! Highly recommend using both.

Although the pictures in this post use Maxis Default Skins and Eyes, I suggest you use Default Replacements. I use some from @pyxiidis and they’re my all-time favorites! Look for eye replacements that remove the specular map ;)

FOUNDATION - balancing reshade for TS4 by amoebae

The Sims 4 suffers from very strong blue shadows in a lot of worlds, and generally has a blue or teal-green haze cast across the screen. This means things that should be white are blue or teal, greys have a blue tone to them, and shadows look out of place. I’ve generally tried to counteract this and make things more neutral in most of my presets, but it’s annoying to have to do it each time from scratch, and I’ve never found a really good method that still preserves everything else that happens to be coloured blue.

Until now!

Foundation at its core is a simple multilut that removes the blue/green haze and neutralises shadows and things that should be neutral to begin with. It doesn’t alter any other colours or contrast so menus stay usable and clear. The result is a game that looks exactly like the Sims game you know and love, but more balanced.

Creta Indoor & Outdoor Kitchen

I have not really done many outdoor sets, which is odd considering I live outside most of the year. It usually comes down to inspiration.  I did stumble across a wonderful outdoor kitchen on pinterest with an interesting trough that I just had to add to my game, and that is how Creta was born. I decided I like it both as an indoor and outdoor set so it grew beyond what I usually do, but I am really happy with the outcome.

First, download the toaster from my post then download ATS4 toaster mod and the recipes you want from here. Put the files in less than TWO folders deep into your Mod Folder!! If you do not install the mod, you can use the toaster as a deco. Simple clothes racks

Hi! ♥︎  It’s been a while!! This is a tiny project that seriously started to get all dusty in my folders (I remember having started the pipes rack before the release of the Moschino SP trailer…) The items come in several frame colors, with different clothing variations for each.
