Package Update

Hello everyone. We apologize for the late update here. I have had problems getting in touch with Mod AJ who had the packages on hand due to health problems on her end, as well as me moving countries recently, However, that is not an excuse and we profusely apologize for that.

We are currently in the process of sending out all packages, and would thus like to request you to check the email accounts you had purchased the zine with to get you tracking numbers. 

Mod Mel is very thankfully taking over from Mod AJ’s side at the moment, and is currently updating over at our twitter account as she’s having difficulty using the tumblr.

If there are any inquiries on the packages and their status, you may be able to contact Mod Mel through her personal email at starlingflew4days@gmail.com. If you would like to get in contact or if there is anything else I may be able to offer, you may also email my personal email at vanessacanace@gmail.com (We apologize for the lack of a tumblr contact as of the moment, as both Mod Mel and I are having difficulty updating through tumblr as of now..)

Hey guys!! The new hard proof is here!! A few pages need re-doing and we need to darken the colors of the page numbers on the credits and fix a few odd crops but otherwise it looks great! Once those are fixed we shouldn't need to send out for another hard proof and just send out for the final copies' printing!! - Mod AJ

Zine Update 10/10/17

Hello all! It's been a while! Thank you so much for your positive feedback regarding the zine PDF! Here's some updates over the work that's been done over the past month:

9/15/17: After our last hard proof had to be re-sent to my new address, we had an ask that requested that the zine included page numbers and what artists did what pieces. We also noted a few mistakes on our part as to some artists who were not properly credited so I had to send the original back to the printer and after some discussion between myself and Mod PV we both agreed that adding page numbers and making zine adjustments would be more beneficial for the artists and while I edited in the rest of the artists, Mod PV added some non-disruptive page numbers to the pieces in the zine. So we made a new version to be sent in!

9/20/17+: Once this was finished, we sent in the new, updated hard proof the printer but they had a back order due to the recent hurricanes in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. The printer agreed to rush order the proof and zine for free luckily. In the meantime, myself and Mod PV kept busy. My own family is in Puerto Rico and if anyone has been affected by these hurricanes please stay safe and we wish you the best! If there's been a change of address or anything feel free to get a hold of us.

October: The hard proof has been sent and according to the tracking info should be arriving today! If this proof has no issues then finally the printer will print out the rest of the zines and mail them out with free rush shipping. Which means it should be here after processing by Monday.

As always thank you guys for your support and patience. We are nearly there and once the updated proof arrives, I'm gonna take a video so you can see the lovely new zine!

I didn't know the zine existed until now but I checked out the tictail and it says there's only the PDF copy available, is it possible that there was a bundle or anything (I saw some pictures of charms and stickers I thought were part of it, I may be wrong)?

Ah, pre-orders are unfortunately already closed, yes, but there were bundles that were offered, inclusive of a physical copy, and merch bundles! We'll most probably have a few extra copies though, so we'll be putting those up for sale at the right time.Thank you so much for the interest! 💖-Mod PV

Hello, some updates as of 28 AUG 2017!

As Mod AJ recently moved, the zine proof was accidentally sent to her old apartment. It should be arriving at her new house today however!

All additional merch materials have been accomplished! Merch with me will be sent out to Mod AJ tomorrow morning.

In line with an anon suggestion, we are adding artist names to the page of their works for better identification! Alongside, I noticed another edit that would take a little more time to do.. We will reforward the edited PDF as soon as we accomplish it!

The schedule has been updated with new estimates/goal dates that we are aiming to reach. 

Thank you for keeping up with us, and for the patience! We’ll hopefully be posting a flip through video of the first hardproof we’ll receive within the day/tomorrow! Keep updated through our twitter!

Hi! I think it would be better if artists didn't post their full works before the third week of September, as in the schedule it says that shipping is after the 18th.. It would be unfair to the people who bought the zine to see the works in case they didn't have a PDF (except if the physical copy came with a PDF to everyone who bought it, so then it is fine) and everyone else has access to them before they even get what they paid for. But again, I might be wrong.. just a thought!

Oh! Apologies for the confusion due to the wording in our timeline update post. Everyone who purchased a copy (whether digital or physical) received the PDF version of the zine! In line with this, and the fact that we had asked artists to hold unto the full pieces for a while now, we felt that it would be an ok time for artists to post full pieces.The digital zine is still up for sale in our shop though, and will be sent through email when we receive any orders in the future- Mod PV
