Neil Gaiman Tumblr FAQ: Good Omens
Tumblr questions that Neil Gaiman has already answered. Yes, it does have some Neil-provided info of S2. But, it is spoiler leak-free! (It also does not have spoilers from early screenings of S2.)
Docs Version: Here Spreadsheet Version: Here
I’m excited about Good Omens 2 and I was already going through Neil Gaiman's blog ( @neil-gaiman ). I initially made it for me and my friends for reference, but then decided to go ahead and throw it out into the Tumblr void, too. I hope it helps.
I made my own FAQ about this here (please check it before messaging me): OrpiKnight's FAQ FAQ

The novel is absolutely great, but I feel the characters were massacred in the TV drama.
Bai Feng Xi is one of the five kings of the world and in the drama she slips and sprains her ankle? This is a woman who can turn rocks into dust with her fist…
I think this is one of the things women written by men (the tv adapters in this case) must be necessarily helpless and useless because they cannot conceive a romantic relationship without the woman being a force of nature on her own.
In the novel, Bai Feng Hei Xi is one of the most dynamic, dramatic and best romance pairings I have seen and the tension (political, sexual, emotional etc.) is nail-biting.
Although I read a mixed up translation on the internet, I couldn’t leave the War-and-peace length book until I finished it!

To me, the idealistic clash between Aziraphale and Crowley was inevitable.
The Angel *believes* in The Book and it's Goodness and The Ineffable Plan. He feels and thinks that *good* is better than *evil* and that God and their plan is on the good side, no matter what. He sees the contradictions as exceptions or that the comprehension of the whole is out of reach. Aziraphale honestly thinks that the fall of Crowley is one of these incomprehensible things and a tragedy. A mistake, albeit an ineffable one. To follow God's will, to truly change the perspective to a more human one (like Jesus) is an opportunity he cannot refuse, he wouldn't be him otherwise because what he wants is to make everything better, including Crowley (even if -by his perspective - he doesn't realize it yet). The kiss, though, I think will be the crack that will shatter his constricted beliefs.
Crowley on the other hand has seen the mistakes as a flaw in the plan, something to be improved and grown. The binary ideals of good and bad limit everything else, and cause harm by doing so. Without flexibility and free will, the creation cannot grow to it's infinite potential. The absolute*good* is at it's core the same as absolute*evil* because nothing can thrive or grow or be born without a choice. He disagrees with Aziraphale that goodness is a goal to reach.
My theory is that God's plan just *is* and the point of everything is the story and the pure existence of everything. And I think both will see that and exist together in the end, because love is the greatest celebration of being.

The weight of all the snow in Kyoto was enough to break the nose of this Tengu—but don’t worry it’s fixed! ️️

Title: Shifting Ties and its sequel Certain Laws and Rules of Engagement Author: dreamingfate Pairing(s) or No Pairing: ZoSan/SanZo Rating: M Genre: Romance/Drama Complete/Ongoing: Both are complete Summary: Life as usual aboard the Going Merry, until a chance encounter in the galley changes everything. Review: This is a really lovely story that progresses from the start of their relationship and rides right along with them through thick and thin. I love the characterisations here and the author has just done such a wonderful job. Links: [ff.net] [sequel]
