my one fear for the adam and mjf story is that they will rush through because they feel like with the new additions to the roster that mjf should feud with them too and not want to put so much time in their story which would be a mistake considering how they had the devil story for months and they should take their time because I feel people forget the story behind all this mjf getting a friend and getting turned on when he trusts so it shouldn’t be so rushed over and ruin their characters lmao I just so really miss them

I'm so tired of everything.

They act like Cole is a burn notice...

eh fuck the dirtsheets for acting like mjf vs cole is just a nuisance that they have to quickly get over with to get back to mjf in the main event scene. of course max is a big miss. adam is also a big miss. are we forgetting that this was the main event of the biggest aew show ever and the best story of 2023 and one of the best stories in aew's existence? yeah the injuries suck but that's not anyone's fault and they should be given all the time and opportunity they need to continue this story when it's possible. because it shouldn't be something to 'wrap up' and get through; this feud and this relationship should be a foundational part of the company going forward. it's not just a stumbling block before mjf gets back to the main event. they are the main event, dammit.

this is why it's hard for me to jive with a lot of wrestling fans and people who comment on wrestling a lot of the time. because building stars and winning titles and having main event feuds and who draws more is what they care about while i'm over here like...i literally just care about these characters and their relationships. that's always gonna be the most important thing to me.

She's just a broken toy...

Thr thing about Adam always being labeled as cold and evil is something that melts my bright. I don't think in the "legal" definitions of evil and cold, cole is. I think she's been linked so much with evilness and hurt during her aew run that she's leaned into it so heavily. Her being the devil makes so much sense. Not because she's an evil character. So many people expect adam cole to be filled eith betrayal and coldness that she's just leaned into it so hard. Nobody expected her and Max to be friends and so she accepted that people *knew* she'd betray him. Like how all those years ago when Kenny lost the world title and said he was going away and then when cole mentioned "I've got it!" All proud and almost excited that someone was trusting her with something as strong but as breakable as the elite. Only for kenny to dismiss her. I think that was the moment we saw something in Cole tick over...
