OP IS SO RIGHT, this fic literally got me into K2 (i read it out of curiosity and for creek)

so I just started reading ‘Mysterion Begins’ AGAIN, and if you guys don’t know what that is, it’s a 3 part K2/kysterion series with the second fic being creek centred

I definitely like this series a lot especially because of the fact that you can see the close relationship between Stan Kenny and Kyle which is something that is sometimes neglected during k2 fics

Stan is the BIGGEST worrywart in this fic and it’s nice to see him be the neurotic concerned one for once instead of Kyle. You can definitely still see the platonic Style within the series. Jimmy and Tolkein are also important recurring characters which is SO refreshing because you rarely see them in fics

anyways I LOVE this fic and you guys should totally read in ao3 <3

reminder that ena has just as much angst as the rest of n25. girl was literally own's biggest fan because the music about wanting to disappear made her feel understood. she probably thought no one would care if she disappeared, so she stayed alive out of spite. she lost her positive self-image and the joy she found through art in one fell swoop, all because of her father. she thought if nobody acknowledged her, it was as if she didn't even exist. and she hated herself for thinking that. she spent an entire event faced with quite obvious signs of her father’s love for her, and could not recognize them as such because she was so convinced he didn't give a shit about her. she's made so much progress and i'm really proud of her, but sometimes she makes me sad.
