Mahatma Gandhi once said, "In a gentle way, you can change the world." This is a simple enough phrase, yet it is greatly overpowering. Basically, in life even the smallest act of kindness can impact someone's life in tremendous ways.
So today, I am asking for that small act of kindness. My name is Amina Hamlet, and as a 16 year old, African-American female, the future is more likely to be withheld from us. I have always wanted to have the best out of life, regardless of the challenges...I always dreamt of continuing my education in college, running my own business, owning a home, and living a happy and financially stable life, however, hard work and determination can only go so far in my situation. Coming from a complicated background of historic financial instability, and harsh impracticable environment, I need a boost. My hopes for the future is burdened by the lack of support, and as a teen there isn't much I can do. I want to make the most out of life and be sure of my future.
So, today I am asking for assistance. I am asking you to help change my life in all ways. I am asking you to support me in all areas and I am asking for your small act of kindness. I'm a kid who has dreamt of a bright future, and I need that support. Thank you so much for supporting my journey, your share/donation matters.
