Bipolar

Manic and depression,

Mood swing is my old friend Emotion.

Anxiety and irritation,

Doctor, need refill for my prescription.

Medicine and meditation,

I’m not who I am, I’m in transformation.

Love at first sight or love gradually?

We are never too old to get dreamy,

Delusion and denial,

I fall, I fail, I can’t keep up the barely social.

There’s no end to this trial, sentence me to death as final.

A lone battle it is, I was warned in advance.

Love has its many phases,

Life has its many waves.

To battle with manic: warrior becomes artists;

To battle with depression: I’ve learned to make peace;

To battle with Bi-Polar: not today not me, I’m in fire and ice.

A bottle of wine,
