I felt like I needed a new intro post because this is mainly a natsuyuu blog nowadays.
- Ray, 30 y.o., he/him; chronically ill; aroace
- Mostly Natsume Yuujinchou; occasionally reblogging whatever I like
- Blog name is pronounced "rayt-two"
- I wish Natori had his own spinoff series because he's one of the characters ever
- I have no ships but I can make shippy jokes because it's fun
- Feel free to talk to me about natsuyuu in PM, unless it's about a specific ship (I don't mind but I don't ship, so I wouldn't really have anything to say anyway)
- Feel free to interact with me in tags/comments too!

An illustration I made a couple of months ago 🌿
Natsume Yūjinchō really is one of the most beautiful pieces of media I've ever had the luck to stumble upon.
I watched it seven years ago for the first time, and I've not left it ever since.
If you have never watched or read it, please consider doing so! Especially if you are someone who values kindness, struggles or has struggled with solitude, or has always felt like not belonging to anywhere or anyone.
If you know it and love it as much as I do, please feel free to write me! I don't know anyone in my real life who knows it and I need someone to share the love I feel for this manga/anime with!

In light of my recent Natori posts getting mental health comments...
(Don’t take this too seriously. And I think a poll like this has been done before but anyway)
#natsume yuujinchou#natsume's book of friends#natori shuuichi#I know that autism isn't a mental illness btw

him and Natori's "sever" spell.
watch natsuyuu they said. it's an iyashikei anime they said.
Matobas suicidality and just the implicit belief that he will be dead in less than 30 years from Miharu is a whole can of worms. Hes 22, with a "gnarly" scar on his own face soon after his father (I am assuming) just died with repeated scars from the same source. He's grieving, his sister was loved by his father deeply and she wants nothing to do with him. He's so resigned in his own curse that his impulsivity borders on suicidal behavior. I feel sick

Natori is such a MOOD in the way he is like "I'm totally fine juggling two demanding jobs, thank you. Lack of sleep? That cannot diminish my brilliance haha. I don't have friends, I've pushed them away for their own good which was totally the responsible thing to do. I'm not lonely though 🙂 And I have no male friends in particular, Matoba absolutely doesn't count, wdym? Oh yeah, my phone was unplugged, it's just so I don't get cursed haha. And I can totally take care of this troubled teen with a long history of trauma, in fact, I can adopt him so he could live in my bare-ass apartment with an empty fridge. Btw I'm very attractive and popular."
