There should be an SCP of a false proof that everyone believes to be true because inexplicably everyone going through it makes the exact same sign error. They extensively attempt to find an alternative proof of the truth or falsity of the theorem to avoid the possibility of the sign error and they think they've found one, but another error is found in that proof which after several months turns out to be equivalent to the sign error in the original proof.
