ANNOUNCEMENT

I am pretty sure TERA community is excited for Patch 97 (64 bit TERA client) coming soon, I know I was, but sadly it comes with a catch.

Mods of any type will not work at all!

From what I read, right now there is no solution on how mods will be handled/made/updated and UTHelper is not working with the new patch (informations come from this post and news on official EU TERA discord). Basically, all current mods that are found on this tumblr won’t be usable once TERA client is updated to Patch 97. It is sad, but true.

That being said, I won’t reblog anything new and I won’t be answering questions sent in ask/inbox about mods until further notice. I also put up the notice in all guides saying how they are not applicable in Patch 97 and I redid the FAQ.

So, what will happen to mods-of-tera? Well, I won’t be deleting anything, but I will put it on hiatus. It was a fun hobby to do and I am thankful for people actually finding it useful. Once TERA modding is possible again and people start to publish their work, I will try to start updating everything again, as well as archive the old mods. Hopefully, there will be some kind soul(s) who will find the solution, but that’s all I can do, hope. I am not a programmer, just someone who enjoyed modded TERA a lot.

hi i was looking for the dance mod GFTime or GFToday for High Elf, but I only found the old mod from "lelupaw" which has unfortunately been removed. Don't have an updated dance mod GFTime or GFToday for High Elf? Or maybe old, but working and not remote? I will be very grateful to you, thanks in advance for your answer!)

Hello! Sadly, there isn’t any working dance mod for any other race than Elin. GFTime and GFToday dances are for them by @invaderzy, so maybe you could ask her if she’s willing to do it for High Elf.

hi! its me again, so I think I got the understanding of modding costumes all wrong. Do you already need a costume/armor in the game for the mod to work on, or a specific costume? from what I understand you cant just paste the file in _PC right? I should have something in the game for the mod to work on or something? sorry for being a noob! because for example, in blade and soul, the mods i have usually just replace the Hongmoon uniform (default armor), is that the same thing with tera?

Hello! There are certain mods that replace fashion coupon/cash items (like this one for example) with something else in TERA as well, yes. And you don’t need to have it to see it, you will see it on others who are wearing the modded costume. As of installing mods, just download the file and put it in your _PC folder.

Unfortunately, with Patch 97 (64 bit TERA client) coming, mods won’t work at all, so don’t feel bad if you can’t get it to work at the moment. But I hope I helped you understand!
