Mod for Grand Strategy games where you can make detailed thank you cards, and your rivals get offended if you don’t send them culturally appropriate cards to commemorate important events or after signing treaties and trade deals. 

Also you could get a rival to declare war on you by sending a glitter bomb

Mod for... I don’t know... let’s say Halo series where the bits if tech decorating levels that you normally can’t interact with will sometimes make rattling or electronic buzzing noises, and will stop if you hit them.  There is no reward for this beyond the satisfaction.

Fallout 4 mod that requires you to use a spinning wheel to process scrapped cloth and fibre items on a spinning wheel and loom before you can use them for anything else. 

This involves a rhythm game of tapping the pedal to make wheel go spin.  There’s no fancy button combos to do, it’s as realistic as possible.

Mod for Skyrim where you have to collect large quantities of herbs and vegetables so local kitchens can make soup.  No you can’t buy the ingredients, you collect herbs and steal loose vegetables like Todd intended.

Alright, I’m gonna try thinking up more mostly terrible content.  Might throw in a few good ideas if I have one of those.
