half-built things

We all have them. Our half built things.
The story we started. The sketch that stopped short. The website dreamed would be flawless, continues to glitch.
At some point, our enthusiasm fades, and the finish line? It disappears into a fog.
What once felt inspired becomes heavy with doubt. And our mind negotiates the benefits of quitting.
And so we pause. Or worse…we walk away.
But here’s the truth:
Breakthroughs are rarely visible until moments before they arrive.
And despite our best planning, projects won’t always unfold exactly on our schedule.
Completion dates, are mostly guesses.
But consistency? That’s a compass. 🧭
The difference between the half-built and the legendary is not talent. It’s the willingness to return to work.
To show up again, and again, without fanfare. Quietly back to the grind.
To troubleshoot, to tweak, to endure the long progress-less stretches where nothing seems to be happening.
Because the truth is: something always is.
You just can’t see it yet.
And someday—maybe soon—you’ll realize:
You were only a few layers away from something extraordinary.
Keep building.
I promise it’ll be worth it.
