The funny thing is life would have been so much easier and stress-free if I was an inconsiderable jerk. Instead I'm someone compassionate and too caring and it all just ends up hurting myself.

Today literally a street away from my home I witnessed a pigeon getting run over by a car and killed right in front of my eyes. Completely broke my heart seeing its body and feathers... God bless the poor thing :(

I had looked at the pigeon shortly before, it was in the middle of the street and it's at a bend where you don't easily notice a car coming your way. Car was an SUV and must've directly driven over with the tyre. After the shock it made me realise how death comes so unexpected. We shouldn't take life for granted, or else, someday, we will look back with regret.
