My favorite videogame turned 30 years old today... the greatest FPS ever, Doom! I cannot stress enough how important this game was to me in my youth, my teens, and even adulthood. It is a primary reason why I got into being a musician, gave me limitless inspiration in art and prose, and allowed Kid Me to dabble with making games - something I've always wanted to do. I realize this sorta thing is important to only me, but please watch anyways. It's just that important, y'all.

I honestly can't remember the last time I was on here, but hey, if this post hits your feed in any way, take some time out of your day and listen to some new music from a certified Spaghetti Man from Modesto CA! These are three existential, self-aware songs about being stuck in situations that are deeper than they seem. "Glass World" is an acoustic ballad about being trapped in places you'd rather not be in while everyone else gets to walk free. "Empty Rooms" is about the struggle of the average local musician who plays a set and finds they have no audience to watch them. "Can't Be a Player" is about addressing and accepting jealousy over your friends' success and keeping it in check by reminding oneself you've no right to say any of that if you're not out doing what they're doing too.
