this blog will be primarily plot based and queue run    as university is starting to become  very   taxing for me.  i’ll also reblog the occasional memes here and there for anyone who wants to start interacting,  but for the most part,  this blog will be run on queue and will require plotting before any interaction.

Jason can’t say just where his would-be father pours income, but he knows it doesn’t just sit around. Bruce was too much of a god damned bleeding heart ( and look who was talking, Jason ‘dumps extra money into supporting shelters for abuse victims’ Todd ) to keep money hoarded away like that.

Instead, he just laughs. “You’d be surprised.”

She’s hovering close— he could just lean a little bit closer, close the last gap between the two, but not right now. Instead, “Deal.” he breathes, “When and where?”

the  comment  takes  her  aback  more  than  she’d  like  to  admit.      molly’s unwavering hatred for capitalism and rich people just made this conversation a bit harder to swallow,  but when he told her that she would be surprised...  her head starts functioning less.  she doesn’t know what goes on the life of the waynes,  nor does she have complete confidence in whatever jason’s saying  —  but she takes his word for it.  there’s a genuine sincerity behind his laugh and molly decides that  fine,  maybe she could hate that wayne capitalist less. 

          “     alright.   i’ll take your word for it,  then.     “       she replies,  suddenly hyperaware of their distance,  or lack thereof,   now.  she  SHOULD  be stapling files and placing them in envelopes and doing whatever office work she should do...  not getting cozy with the boss’ son.      “   there’s a cute diner a few blocks away and i’ve never really been there before.  i get off work around seven.   “      but there’s something about him that pulls her in and makes her forget that she’s supposed to be a proper employee.  she winks,  taking the last ounce of confidence she has in her small body before retrieving a few documents from the large desk in the middle of the room.

there  are  some  things  that  had  been  left  unsaid  between  them  since  the  new  year’s.      it all happened in a quick fashion that made it quite hard for molly to grasp.  they’d kissed then,  and she doesn’t really know who leaned it first,  or who stared at the other first.  all she knows is that it’s happening,  and if she’s being completely honest,  she likes it.  what happens after is a completely different deal altogether.  it had been too long since that kiss,  and there have been too many thoughts left inside her head for her to continue on this quiet game. 

          in the middle of styling his hair,  she lets out a nervous breath before setting down the styling materials on the dressing room table.  she moves to lean against the dressing room table,  eyes fixed on chad.      “   okay we need to talk.   “      \      @mackfclls​

if  she’s  going  to  be  completely  honest,      she expected this already.  this abduction is long overdue.  after all,  a year of being the face of batman incorporated should already mean she’s been kidnapped at least once,  but she’s not.  this is first abduction after one peaceful year of being the public face to batman incorporated.

          even as she sits on a chair  --  with her hands tied behind her,  her feet tied to the legs of the chair,  mouth duct taped for saying too much stuff that hurt,  and cheeks sporting a huge bruise after being punched by the penguin after she’d recited a quarter of his offenses against the law  --  she does not quite feel as much panic as she thinks she should feel.  her entire body is at rest,  despite the slight hammering that she feels within her ribcage.  one of the bats will come for her.  any form of silence coming from molly,  whether it be digital or just the lack of her presence elsewhere,  that victoire and jason does not know could only mean one thing which is more or less...  an abduction. 

          when she hears one of the thugs go down,  she couldn’t help but to feel the rush of adrenaline coursing through her.  it’s either one of the bats are here,  or someone else is trying to compete for having her as hostage.  she hopes to god that it’s not,  but when she comes face to face with a familiar red helmet upon the removal of the duct tape on her mouth,  molly couldn’t help but to smile.      “   hi babe,   “      she says,  voice low enough that only the two of them would hear.          \          @sonburied​.
