I saw @saphizzle ‘s pancake and cake hats and for some reason felt inspired to make a jello hat and a watermelon one as well

Tutorial for the Pavé dresses
A while ago, I got a request to upload a tutorial for the Pavé dresses that I made:
I spent a long time trying to make a detailed and thorough tutorial to the point where I got stressed about it and put it off until I forgot to actually make it. So, to the people who were waiting so long for me to upload it, I’m very very sorry for making you wait so long!
And another thing I’m sorry about is the fact that I have not included much in this post about actually creating the design. As I’ve stated before, I usually just mess around with colors until the design looks right.
Without further ado, here are the designs:
If there is popular demand for me to elaborate on how I made the designs, then eventually I will add more to this post.
Thanks for reading!

Tile Shelf Tutorial
Start with a white canvas, then add some darker squares
use a color in between the two to create some depth
I do a single line on the bottom of the squares, with two on all the others
now, Add some stuff!!
like a stack of plates
or some books
how about a simple jar?
use a slightly darker outside and a stripe of lighter color to create a round depth to the jar.
how about a plant?
or a teacup?
teacups require a bit more depth and shading since they have more angles.
or a plant IN a teacup?
it’s a small plant, but it’ll grow fast if you want it to
by putting parts of the plant in front of the white space, it makes it have even more depth, as well as adding different colors for the vine vs the leaf
now, all you have to do is put whatever you want in the boxes and ta-da you have a shelf!

Reposting from Reddit thread by GrokNotMock.
Comments pointing out that you NEED to give him stuff in order to get new villagers, seems to be a general consensus that it’s RNG as to how/when.

THE BEST BRAKE TAPPER TIP
If you’re like me and you’re trying to reach that steep order of 10,000 caps to get that very gaudy, very shiny, very exclusive trophy you know you can’t be wasting your friend powder when it costs you 3 friend powder per one play. Sure that doesn’t seem like a lot, but lets put this into perspective. I had 999 friend powder to start this long journey. 677 friend powder later and I’m at roughly 4,000 caps. This includes the chance of +30 or +50 caps and a lot, a lot, of misses till I learned my trick.
The complete rotations:
Slot 1 - green, orange, red, yellow blue
Slot 2 - orange, blue, yellow, green, red
Slot 3 - yellow, red, green, blue, orange
Pick your color. I always go for orange, and here’s why + the trick and tips.
Make sure your volume is on. I use the ticks as a way to count the amount of turns the panels make. I’ve gotten so good I can watch youtube videos and just listen for the ticks when its the +5, +30 and/or +50 (granted the higher the stakes, the more I pay attention to the screen).
UTILIZE THE EVENTS - This is so crucial. The spring flower event is over, but when I’d go to my sisters campsite and trade w her back and forth like 10 times w ladybugs I’d rack up around 200 friend powder in under 10 minutes. Otherwise, add people and do the rounds and grind.
2 TICKS - I tap right away on the first one. You’ll never get green on the first go because the sensory for the iPhone isn’t that strong, so you’ll get orange. Plus the rotation is so slow on the first round regardless of the stakes so you’re always guaranteed orange when you want it.
6 TICKS - Wait 6 ticks, basically a full rotation + 1 (the + 1 is the orange) for orange to come back again, it comes back after the red.
5 TICKS - Wait a full rotation or 5 ticks, it comes back after the blue
My tip, either be a visual que or audial que guy/gal. I tend to do both, but I stick with the audial ques.
You may be asking, why orange? Here’s why:
The first slot is always the easiest to hit, and orange is the quickest to tap hands down and gets the game moving quicker, especially if you’re trying to get to that 10,000 cap goal, you want to go as quick as possible.
The second and third rotations you basically wait a full rotation for the orange to come up. Using the visual/audial ques to help you, its a guaranteed hit every time if you’re paying attention.
Plus, when you have the +30/+50 bonus you wanna wait a little longer to hit. You shouldn’t be trying to hit the second or third picture and risk you losing the big bonus.
Happy brake tapping and good luck!! -Camper Logie
