Needed this today. It’s not always easy to put our selfish needs and desires to the side to serve others, but we don’t serve others because we necessarily want to or because it will earn us something. We serve others because Jesus served others. We serve others because we have been extended such undeserving grace and mercy, and we should be bursting at the seams to shower that on others.

Thank you Lord, for ministering to my soul today 🙌🏻

Update on Eden

Just wanted to give an update on my pregnancy with our precious little girl. I’m 22 weeks (23 weeks on Monday) and feeling great! I had my 20 week anatomy scan and quad screen blood test to check for any abnormalities and everything came back normal! 🙌🏻 I have another doctor’s appt next Tuesday. I also have another 4D ultrasound scheduled for the end of December, so we’ll get to see what her sweet face looks like before she’s born ☺️

Thanks to my anterior placenta, I didn’t start to feel her movements until about 18 weeks. For the past week or so, she has been doing bigger kicks and rolls, and it has been amazing! One of the most fulfilling parts of pregnancy is being able to feel your baby moving inside of you. I love being her mommy already!

We bought a baby doll when we were pregnant with Jude to get the dogs used to having a baby in the house. Her name is Rosie. She has been in Jude’s stuffed animal basket since he was born, but we have started pulling her out and holding her in front of Jude. He loves her! He always pats her head and wants to give her kisses 💋 I can’t wait to see him as a big brother to his baby sister!

Ryan and I just realized the other day that she’ll be here in about 4 months 😳 This pregnancy has gone by so fast! We can’t wait to meet our new little blessing from God! 🎀💗
