I’m totally okay with smartphones getting rid of the headphone jack. Don’t stop there. Get rid of the USB port. Get rid of the charging port. Make it a single impenetrable slab of solid-state hardware with no seams or openings whatsoever, then dip it in bulletproof glass and give it to me - then maybe I’ll have a phone that’ll survive being in my possession for more than half a year!
