Hello everyone!! I've been a fan of Patti for FOREVER and I've been lurking around the Patti fandom here since November. I've been hardcore fixating on her since October so I figured I may as well make a side blog and introduce myself

My name is, for the sake of anonymity, Joan. I think the name Joan is very classy and also every woman named Joan is incredible. Baez, Cusack, Crawford, Collins, Rivers, of Arc, Mitchell... Im sure I could come up with more if I thought about it. Joan Ramsey?

I'm 18, a lesbian, she/her but also I don't care, Im from California, I'm a photographer as well as a librarian trainee (wow so cool just like Parker Posey in Party Girl) and also just an artsy fartsy weirdo freak. I could list little unimportant facts about myself for hours and hours so I'll just give 3 random ones:

1. I've been dying my hair red for 3 years

2. I only wear silver jewelry

3. I'm also fixating on Bruce Springsteen right now (weird combination of fixations but there is overlap! Patti covered a song Bruce cowrote with Patti Smith!!!)

Like my blog title says I am a Mona Wasserman apologist,she's my favorite Patti role, I watched Beau is Afraid on a 12 hour flight to Munich and it changed my life forever. That movie has everything: Patti Lupone playing a bizarrely attractive mildly psychotic woman, Nina Simone on the soundtrack, Parker Posey for a brief moment, 3 hours of anxiety inducing nightmares, and a giant penis monster. I will be discussing Mona at length I love her
