Week 12

What is working?

I am enjoying the meal prep with my existing customers who have decided to stick long term. it is quick and easy for me to order foods based on their commitment. 

What is not working?

Having a fluctuation of customers is unpredictable and I wish there were more clients I could persuade. I think keeping on the relationships I have and expanding from there with the extra use of some marketing tactics would help.

How is the project coming along?

The project is great and nearly at its end. I think the key take away is that you offer a variety as opposed to the same only, and make sure you are confident with your options.

What are you learning about running a business?

I am learning that there is a learning curve for everyone and you need to focus on the positives and not always the negatives. Always help our when a ling of customers visit otherwise it reflects poorly on management. 

What am I learning about myself?

I am dedicated and able to provide supports but sometimes I feel overwhelmed and out of the loop. To avoid this, I have a chat with my coworker or manager  about the issue and they are able to make suggestions or alternative solutions

Week 11

What is working?

I am having a lot of fun creating and brainstorming new meal options and it seems to keep my new clients intrigued. I have about 5 consistent clients which keeps my day busy. 

What is not working?

With Christmas right around the corner, I have not had too many inquiries, however I do know that a big rush of people will inquire for the New Year, New Me resolution in January. 

How is the project coming along?

The project is coming along well and I am enjoying the way this course has brought innovation forth in my planning. I am testing out different platforms to help keep my business up to speed with the technologically advanced customers so they know I have a lot more than great meals to offer. 

What are you learning about running a business?

I have learned that things may not always go to plan, customers may not always be interested, however there are always lows and highs to every business and it is just a matter of persevering and pushing through the harder times to show you can reach your target.  

What am I learning about myself?

I am more dedicated and fierce than ever. I feel that even though your product might be “fire” (great or the best on the market), there is always another brand trying to beat you out. Always work hard and think of new ways to improve. I am aggressive so that I can succeed and do well!
