I understand WHY in fantasy stories with some modern elements are good/fun, but if you're going to mix magic and tech then mix them, don't just shove a gun in a world of magic and have nothing else, like stories set in the current time that want to put magic in a modern setting just say "Dragons and magic exist" and have it NOT effect the story I WANT to know how buildings are effected by magic, do the wooden homes float to avoid being burned are there EVEN wooded buildings is it all stone, how high are the towers is wizard an old term for a magic user, how about CARS are those beasts run off mana or gas, does everyone have magic or was the tech made for/by the people who don't have magic, is there reverse diving gear for merfolk to be on land, hell you could have a fully functional city that looks abandoned and overgrown, just explain it as "Yeah there was a ton of mana and plants help with regulating it", how the fuck do weapons fit in are there enchants for guns or something.

I can't get into a few shows and comics because it's either, a gun shoved into a mid evil fantasy world, or "Magic exists but other then that nothing is different for how real life looks"
