2003 Raphael x Reader Dating HCs

A/N: I have arisen from the dead!! Pt.2 of the Raphael dating headcanons. Enjoy!

I feel like most people assume this Raph would be more likely to fall for a biker badass lady who takes no one's shit, which has potential, but honestly I can totally see our boy falling for a sweet lil girly girl

And so I raise you: the sweet lil girly girl badass

Like I feel he would be instant heart eyes for a kind hearted soul who wears dresses and their makeup and hair n shit but can absolutely hold their own in a fight

He gets a lot of snark from his brothers, so it would literally be a dream come true for him if he landed someone who showers him with compliments and encouragement, and actually attempts to see his perspective for once

Tell him how strong he is when he's doing pushups or how passionate he is when he gets fired up about something, the man will be whipped

If you have a pitbull or any other kind of dog that's generally seen as aggressive or dangerous, he'll be whipped x2

If you have pets in general, they all just kind of flock over to him, he's an animal magnet

If you have the hair texture for it, he will absolutely learn how to braid it for you, in private of course, he has a reputation to uphold

Also knits you things, but you CANNOT tell anyone that he made them for you (everyone knows it has him lol)

Some people depict him as a bit of a flirt, and I might be inclined to agree if it was someone he didn't genuinely have a crush on he was flirting with

But with you?

Absolutely tongue-tied, and believe me he has tried

Very protective over you, whether you can fight or not

Absolutely gets jealous, Mikey has made a habit of flirting with you when he's around just to piss him off

Be prepared for angry kisses later that day ;)

Speaking of which, sucks at kissing at first but quickly gets the hang of it and once he does...(I can't find the side eye emoji)

Out of all the Raphs (excluding rise), he is the most likely to intentionally confess

Well, maybe confess is an overstatement

He will drop not so subtle hints that he wants to get with you

For example: "Yeah, ya know I've always had kind of a thing for *insert your type here* girls."

Que intense eye contact

Walks you home every time you leave the lair if you don't have a vehicle, you DO NOT have a choice

If you ever get in an argument with someone, he will support the hell out of you, like crossing his arms and nodding behind you with a "don't fuck with us" expression, yelling "what she said!" when you make a good point, etc.

I feel like the relationship has two sides: the "kick his ass babe I got yo flower" side, and the "she asked for no pickles" side

Overall, you're one of the few people of the few people that get to see Raph's softer side, he's your big over protective teddy bear and your his rational other half that he can always depend on

Hello? Excuse me, is this blog active? I'm back in fandom after ages and I'm looking for new active blogs to follow? Also, what kind of info do I need for oc match up, if you're doing them?!

Yes, this blog is still active if a bit slow. Things should be running quicker now that finals are over lol.

As for Oc matchups, imagine you're setting them up on a date and you're telling a match maker what they're like. Give me their basics such as gender, name, clothing style, zodiac sign etc. Give me their best traits and their worst traits, what they look for in a partner, what they value, their social behavior and basically anything else you can think of. Blow up my inbox, I won't mind. I'd much rather have three asks to go off of rather than a few sentences.

2012!Raphael Dating Headcanons

A/n: Since the anon didn't specify which Raph they wanted, I'm going to also be doing headcannons for all the other Raphs too. First up is 2012 although I don't know why I didn't do 2003 first, oh well.

Is torn between wanting someone who can kick his ass, or someone who depends on him to protect them

But what he really needs is someone who's patient and helps him with his outbursts, someone he can go to to cool off

Mikey is y'all's #1 shipper (although Splinter holds a close second)

He'll constantly tease Raph about you though, which will of course annoy the hell out of his older brother

The relationship progresses slow as molasses, mostly because Raph is so scared he'll do something wrong

He doesn't want to mess this up, you're human and he's, well, him

He doesn't ever want to do something to make you feel uncomfortable

So only the occasional peck on the cheek the first month or so

If you don't know combat, you better bet your ass he's gonna teach you at least a few basics

His life is full of unexpected dangers, he's not always gonna be there to protect you and he'll be damned if anything happens to his girl

He's very insecure the first couple of months, he'll constantly worry about your safety and is always scared you'll one day decide you can do better than a mutant like him and up and leave him

You'll have to constantly reassure him that you're not going anywhere

Splinter's your dad now, sorry I don't make the rules

He's so glad his son's found someone to counteract his emotions; you're the cool, calming water to his ever-burning fire

But unlike Leo, you never act more mature than he his, you always manage to see his side of the sotry and take his emotions into consideration

You're always giving him compliments, and I'd be lying if I said your weren't a huge boost to his ego

He's always trying to impress you too, he'll train harder when you're watching, workout around you, and try to one-up his brothers in pretty much everything

Sometimes, you'll have to remind him you like him for more than just his strength, you like him for his fiery passion and his loyalty and protectiveness for those he cares for

Out of all his brothers, you're probably the closest with Mikey (which is good bews for Raph bc now he has someone else to annoy)

Although in all actuality, he's quite pleased you get along so well with his baby brother

Surprisingly, he's the first to say "I love you"

It happens on accident, when the two of you are watching a movie at your place, and you both bust out laughing at a comedic timing

He turns to see your face alight with laughter, and it just comes out

"God, I love you."

Your promptly stops, and surprise crosses your face

"Wait, no I didn't-uh... shit..."

He expects you to reject him at any moment, but of course you don't

"I love you too."

Raph's never felt so happy in his life and the smile splits across his face shows just how grateful he is to have you in his life
