This took a while, but I wanted to take my time with it/my art in general. I very much liked how this came out. It's quite vague, but there r some smaller details here n there that give a deeper meaning to things. Hopefully someone notices them haha!

im not sure what fandroid is but i just wanted to come by and say im sorry someone insulted your work like that. im on youtube myself, assuming i recognized the ui right but i myself am used to getting inane comments that take away from my work

not to say you need to get used to it, god no, just wanted to say im sorry that people on that platform suck ass, i know what thats like, but im really excited to see how the wip turns out.

More Iris doodles! Wanted to implement how she ended up transforming a little more, so I made her eyes like telescope lenses! That girl can’t see SHIT

And the first drawing is just her being her sad, soggy self all bundled up in a big ass comforter

Woe, OC be upon ye

Idk if she entirely makes sense for the game design-wise, but!! I made a Look Outside OC! Info yapping below the cut

Iris is a [very reclusive] artist that had a particular interest in painting the sky. Her parents gifted her a telescope for her to view the stars so she could paint them better [since she rarely left her apartment].

One day, when looking through her telescope [post Sybil’s viewing], she caught a glimpse of the Visitor without even realizing, just going back to her painting afterwards. But as the days passed, her body began to distort and change. She didn’t know what was happening to her, so she started leaving her apartment less and less until she eventually just. Stopped going outside.

Now, with the Visitor closer and the warnings having been sent out, she’s surviving off whatever leftovers and canned foods are still left in her room. She’s still lucid, albeit scared and alone due to her habits.

Her body has the texture of paintbrush bristles, and the top of her can split open if she feels threatened. The substance that emerges from her I imagine has the consistency of watered down paint. The process hurts like hell, and is a mostly involuntary reaction.

Her hands [paws?] can become tacky, allowing her to climb up some smooth surfaces. The more texture something has, the harder for her to grip.

[She was very much inspired by both Sybil and Frederic story-wise, and her design is slightly inspired by denial ending Sam. Specifically BunniesWithKnives’s design for him in their Mr. Blue Sky animatic!]
