Jackson Jekyll & Holt Hyde

Jackson Jekyll AS Matt Bennett
is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jekyll. He is a human (or normie) who is usually mild mannered and studious. But thanks to his half-monster heritage, he transforms into the rowdy Holt Hyde whenever he hears loud music. He is quite close with Frankie Stein.
Age :16
BirthdayMay 30th
Pet : Crossfade, a chameleon. He can blend into any situation and never call attention to himself.
BFFs : Frankie Stein and Deuce Gorgon
Transformation
Throughout each storyline, Holt and Jackson have no control over their transformations and change from one into the other under specific circumstances. In the cartoon series, it seems to be music that causes Holt/Jackson's transformation. This is first seen in "Hyde and Shriek." In the books it is heat that triggers the transformation.
In Holt Hyde's Basic diary, Holt's transformation into Jackson Jekyll normally occurs at sunrise and lasts until sunset. Holt noted that when he was trying to see what the town was like during the day, he blacked out at the moment of sunrise. However, in Jackson Jekyll's 'Between Classes' diary, it's revealed that the trigger for Jackson's transformation has since changed, so that it is now music as in the cartoon. Specifically, "music with a 4/4 time signature played in excess of 90 decibels" triggers the transformation into Holt. However according to the dairy, because of Jackson's "elemental heritage + Hyde transformation + teenage boy" status, it is likely to change again at least once more before he hits adulthood.
In the Monster High book series, the change is caused by sweat.
There are times when Jackson's and Holt's memories and abilities leak over to the other. For example, in the diaries Jackson is able to keep up with Deuce Gorgon in a basketball game (to the gorgon's surprise),[4] while Holt recognizes Draculaura at a club despite the fact it's the "first" time he meets her.
Family
In the Monster High books, his mother is named Sydney Jekyll. The exact way Jackson's family tree looks is fuzzy at the moment. In Jackson Jekyll's 'Between Classes' diary, it is revealed that it's Jackson's mother from whom the dual nature comes, while his father is revealed to be a fire elemental and implied to be the parent through which Jackson is the cousin to Heath Burns, a fact first mentioned in "Fear Pressure". However, Ghoul Spirit states that Jackson's mother is the sister of Heath's father, making the exact familial relations unclear. In his profile bio on the website, he states his parents are "Dr. and Mrs. Jekyll", meaning that Dr. Jekyll is his father in the bio series. In the Monster High books, Dr. Jekyll is his mother, but she is referred to as Ms. J, and Jackson is the grandson of the original Dr. Henry-Jekyll-Mr.-Edward-Hyde character.
Until he was 16 years of age, Jackson did not know he had a monster half in the form of Holt. He did know both his parents were monsters, but he thought he'd only been given his mother's human side. Neither his parents apparently thought their son's dual nature was something they needed to inform him about.
Especially Jackson's mother is very protective of her little boy, and seeing him get hurt is something that can trigger her transformation into the mode most suited for helping him out. Also according to Holt Hyde's Basicdiary, Jackson's mother doesn't keep the same job for long and the family regularly moves to a place closer to her new job.
In the Monster High books, Jackson regards Holt as his brother, as the latter reveals to Melody Carver: "Because D.J. likes her. I can't do that to him...or me, or whoever....He's kind of like my brother, I guess." Heath Burns is not related to Jackson in the books, and therefore neither is Harmony Burns. Though they are cousins in the webisodes.
Jackson has an uncle who owns a farm. It is not stated what side of the family his uncle is on, although it's slightly more likely he is a Jekyll/Hyde because he has no problem only seeing Jackson out. AbilitiesHe has no monster abilities, being a normie, as humans don't have any abilities that monsters have, but he does have a special ability:Special AbilitiesTransformation: Jackson can transform into Holt Hyde, but not at will (not unlike his grandfather). This only occurs when in the books, he sweats, and in the web series and TV specials, when he hears loud music playing.SkillsetSports: In the books, he is good at basketball, and in the web series, casketball. Though Manny Taur does not recognize he is good at it due to Holt.Video games: He is skilled in playing video games.Other Facts

zac efron dj as Holt Hyde is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hyde and the alter ego of Jackson Jekyll. The Age :16... I think.
Birthday : May 30th
Pet :Crossfade, a chameleon. He's the best pet ever 'cause change never bothers him and he totally digs my music.
BFFs : I'm down with all the monsters that love my music
Personality
Holt is a DJ, so he's very social and into promoting his music. He admits that he is "hot-headed" and can have a bit of a temper.[1]However, when it comes to his music, Holt has access to a quiet side in favor of the creative process. He enjoys to spend time at a small, secluded spot near Epic Falls during those periods. Holt Secret Hyde-a-Way His choice in clothing style is a black-and-white shirt may be a reference to his split personality alter ego side of Jackson.
Transformation
Throughout each storyline, Holt and Jackson have no control over their transformations and change from one into the other under specific circumstances. In the cartoon series, it seems to be music that causes Holt/Jackson's transformation. This is first seen in "Hyde and Shriek".
In his 'Basic' diary, Holt's transformation into Jackson Jekyll normally occurs at sunrise and lasts until sunset. However, in Jackson Jekyll's 'Between Classes' diary, it's revealed that the trigger for Jackson's transformation has since changed, so that it is now also music as in the cartoon. Specifically, "music with a 4/4 time signature played in excess of 90 decibels" triggers the transformation into Holt. However, according to the diary, because of Jackson's "elemental heritage + Hyde transformation + teenage boy" status, it is likely to change again at least once more before he hits adulthood.
In Holt's 'Basic' diary, he displayed one example of having some elemental powers from Jackson's parental heritage, as he melted the pen he was using and his entry indicated this had happened before. His bio also uses several fire related puns.
In the Monster High book series, the change is caused by temperature shifts, be it from him getting hot from embarrassment or from outside forces like a hot day.
There are times when Jackson's and Holt's memories and abilities leak over to the other. For example, in the diaries, Jackson is able to keep up with Deuce Gorgon in a basketball game (to Deuce Gorgon's surprise),[2]while Holt recognizes Draculaura at a club despite the fact it's the "first" time he meets her.

Holt has an uncle who owns a farm. It is not stated what side of the family his uncle is on, although it's slightly more likely he is a Jekyll/Hyde because he has no problem only seeing Jackson out. Facebook
Friends
On his Monster High website profile, he's friends with all the monsters, who in turn love his music. Draculaurawas at a club when he was performing.
In one of Monster High's Facebook posts, it states that Hyde worked with Deuce to make a go-cart for the Monster Derby, so it could be assumed that Deuce is friends with both Jackson and his alter ego[4].
Pet
Holt's pet is a chameleon named Crossfade, who absolutely loves Holt's music.
Romance
In his 'Basic' diary, he goes on a date with Operetta. He also spots Draculaura at a club, and calls her "a hot little vampire" and her nickname "Ula D". His feelings for Draculaura seem to be a result of the memories he shares with Jackson.
In the webisode "Hyde and Shriek" Holt meets Frankie Stein, calling her a "high-powered hottie" and "Frankie 'Fine' Stein". This may also be a result of his shared memories with Jackson Jekyll, as he had never met Frankie before to know her name, let alone develop an interest in her, or he has the same interests as Jackson. He seems to really care for Frankie as much as Jackson does, and loves to make her happy. He is a little disappointed when Frankie says they can't go out yet until he works things out with Jackson, but is willing to wait. They still stay friends and doesn't mind waiting for Frankie. In the webisodes of the cartoon, especially in "Phantom of the Opry", and other webisodes, he calls her "Franken'fine" as a pun on the name "Frankenstein" as seen in Phantom of the Opry, and some occasions, "Frankie Fine" without her name "Stein" as heard in "The Bermuda Love Triangle".
In the movie "Ghouls Rule" Holt expresses interest in Jackson's normie classmate Clair and attempts to kiss her when he quotes that Jackson has "fine taste in ladies" to which however she appears to have exclusive interest in Jackson, putting headphones on Jackson to prevent him from hearing the music to share a kiss. In "Ghouls Rule", because Holt and Jackson sort of share the same brain, and have a combined mind set, he knows and understands Jackson's feelings as vice versa, and even agrees with Jackson about Clair.
In the Monster High book series, he has a crush on Frankie and calls her "Firecracker".

Hoodude Voodoo

Kyle Gallner as Hoodude Voodoo is a 2011-introduced and all-around character. He is a human-sized living voodoo doll, created by Frankie Stein to be her emergency boyfriend. She realized soon after she wasn't ready for a relationship yet and broke it off, leaving Hoodude in despair because being with Frankie was his life's purpose. After a long time, he picked himself up and found other things to enjoy about life. Romance itself still is one of his favorite topics, but a good sappy movie can accommodate that. Hoodude is the kind of person that is always willing to help and almost always looks at the bright side, to the point of hopeless naivety. He currently lives at Hoodude is a kind soul, but with a penchant for melodrama. His main concern in life is being loved by Frankie, but he pursues it passively rather than actively. As a voodoo doll, he doesn't experience physical pain and seems oblivious to it, as such harm done to him is instead felt by any monster near him or is felt by the owner of any item he is holding at the time of being harmed. Hoodude is often clumsy but is also always ready to help out, especially people he recognizes his own troubles in. Viral Monster
Abilities
Hoodude, a voodoo doll, has many biological abilities, acquired the day of his creation.
Voodoo: Like a voodoo doll, when Hoodoo is hurt, whoever is close to him or whose stuff he is holding will feel the pain for him, and suffer the respective consequences. Usually this effect creates a little spark around the zone affected, possibly a callback to his creator. He can transfer pain to others without holding their stuff, but only to males.
Pain Inability: Hoodude is unable to feel pain and is hardly ever damaged, as he has been through several deadly situations without a scratch.
Age Let's just make it easier and say I'm 15.
BFFsScarah Screams
Relationships
Family
As a simulacrum, Hoodude does not have family in the same way natural creatures have. He and his creator, Frankie Stein, do not view each other as family, though Frankie's parents do believe themselves to have responsibility for Hoodude's well-being.
For a short while, Hoodude lived with the Steins, but Frankie's parents eventually needed him out of the house for Frankie's sake. Mr. Stein arranged for Hoodude to live with Ms. Kindergrubber.[1] Kindergrubber already had another adoptee of sorts, Robecca Steam, but it is unknown how Hoodude views her.
Despite that Heath Burns is a pain-magnet and Hoodude is just the same - only he passes on pain to others near him - Hoodude and Heath hang out occasionally and are on good terms with each other. This can be seen in webisodes such as "Zom-Beach Party" and "Hoodoo That Voodoo That You Do".
Hoodude is good friends with Scarah Screams, who has a locker near his. Scarah likes Hoodude because he is a good listener, and Hoodude, being a sensitive soul, just appreciates all positive attention he gets.
Romance
Hoodude was made specifically to act as Frankie's boyfriend, and only to be so, and was incredibly scarred when he learned she did not have feelings for him, considering he had failed his sole purpose, the main cause of his miserable and gloomy personality. However, most recently, he has overcame the rejection and has become more happy and rather oblivious to anything else around him.

Deuce Gorgon
Brandon Flynn as Deuce Gorgon {TAKEN}
is the son of the gorgon, Medusa. He likes to skateboard and is interested in cooking. He wears sunglasses to prevent turning other people to stone temporarily. He is in a relationship with Cleo de Nile. His pet is a rat named Perseus.
He is a gorgon, specifically the son of Medusa, and a student at Monster High. Deuce and his mother have a difficult relation, which he tries to make the best of and keeps out of his school life. His relation with his aunt Stheno and her daughter Viperine is a lot better, but they do not live in New Salem. Deuce is considered the hottest boy at Monster High as well as one of the most reliable and relaxed people to hang out with. Because of his personality, many are confused he is dating Cleo de Nile, a demanding and impulsive princess. However, it is these traits and their shared underlying troubles that makes them one of the finest couples at school. Other than being captain of several sport teams, most notably casketball, Deuce enjoys spending his available time on cooking. He is skilled at kitchen work, but not comfortable letting anyone know about it.
Age16
Birthday : March 5th
PetPerseus is my two-tailed rat named for an ancient Greek warrior mom knew. She doesn't think it's funny.
BFFs : Clawd Wolf, Manny Taur
Personality
Among his peers, Deuce Gorgon is widely regarded as friendly and outgoing. He is consistently very welcoming of newcomers, being friendly toward Frankie during her first days at school, and inviting Jackson Jekyll to sit with him and Heath at lunch on his first day at school, despite the boy's outcast status among the other monsters. These traits, combined with his confidence and easy-going nature, make Deuce one of the most popular monsters around Monster High. Additionally, Deuce loves sports and is one of the captains of the casketball team. He also loves cooking, but he tries to keep it a secret.[1] He is very loyal to his girlfriend Cleo de Nile and tolerates a lot of her bad behavior with patience and grace, showing himself to care deeply about her and doing all he can to make her happy. Because of his mother's affinity for ancient art, Deuce himself also has an affinity for sculpting.
Appearance
Deuce is tall, handsome and muscular, with green eyes that can turn people to stone (at least for a few hours) which is why he wears sunglasses. His scalp hair is actually scaly and green, and on top of his head are, depending on medium, six to nine snakes, forming a Mohawk (or a "snake-hawk", as Deuce calls it). He also has green scales on his bicep, though it's unclear if it is part of his natural skin or an added tattoo.
Relationships
Family
Deuce lives with his mother, Medusa Gorgon, in New Salem, although it appears they have a home on Petros Island in Greece too, which is where most of Deuce's family lives. There appears to be no father in Deuce's life. Furthermore, Deuce's relation with his mother is suggested to not be that good, most notably through Deuce's remark in "Ghouls Rule" that "family is complicated".
In the Monster High book series, Medusa's name is shortened to Maddy, so as not to attract unwanted attention.
Every summer vacation, Deuce and his mother travel to Greece to visit his aunts, Stheno and Euryale, the former of which Deuce often has a cook-off against, which may be where his love of cooking came from.[2]Viperine Gorgon is Stheno's daughter, thus making Deuce and Viperine cousins.
Friends
Deuce appears to be friends with Heath Burns in "New Ghoul @ School", and states in his diary that he has an amicable relationship with Clawdeen Wolf's brother Clawd, since they're both on "the team".[3] He makes friends with Jackson Jekyll during a game of pick-up casketball. He appears to be friends with Operetta in "Phantom of the Opry" and in the 'School's Out' diaries.
Even though Deuce seems to be friends with Heath Burns, he didn't hesitate in turning him into a stone in "New Ghoul @ School". When they're on the team, he also has Manny Taur as his friend. Typically in the doll diary of the doll logs profile bio in the back of the diary copies of dolls and at the back of the doll boxes, his BFFs or BFF's, also known as best friends forever are his girlfriend Cleo de Nile and Jackson Jekyll.

Pet
Deuce's pet is a two-tailed rat named Perseus, much to his mother's distaste.
In "Hiss-teria", we learn that when Deuce was young, he had a pet dragon named Smokey. Deuce was not in control of his powers, and accidentally turned Smokey to stone. Smokey is supposed to change back on the anniversary of the incident, although Deuce isn't sure which
Romance
Deuce is a popular boy, whose cool demeanor, sense of humor, good looks, and social skills easily earn him the attention of the female portion of the student body. Deuce is somewhat oblivious to this though, and himself humble in his romantic endeavors. He fell for Cleo de Nile when she was dating Clawd Wolf, and wouldn't ask her out while she was still attached to another. Word of his interest reached Cleo, whose relationship with Clawd was based on peer pressure, respect, and friendship, but not love. Cleo returned Deuce's interest, which was an additional motivation to Cleo and Clawd's imminent break-up.
Deuce and Cleo started dating only a day after the break-up Clawd Wolf's 'School's Out' diary and have been a steady couple ever since. This is mostly thanks to Deuce, who is patient towards Cleo's diva-like attitude and paranoia that Deuce would dump her for another. When asked by Operetta what he sees in her, he answered "she just brings out the best in me, you know. Makes me want to be a better Deuce." It states in C.A. Cupid's LS diary that Cleo and Deuce started dating on November 1st.
In "New Ghoul @ School", Deuce became Frankie Stein's first crush because he was nice to her and helped her when Heath Burns wouldn't stop his persistent and awkward flirting on his own. However, Frankie stopped viewing Deuce as a potential boyfriend the moment she found out that he was already dating Cleo, and even helped them get back together after she had accidentally made Cleo believe Deuce was cheating on her.
In "Hiss-teria", Deuce's suspicious behavior and Draculaura's misinterpretation of the things she saw led Cleo to erroneously believe he was cheating on her with Operetta. After a rather violent confrontation between the two, Operetta decided to steal Deuce from Cleo anyway to get back at her. However, Operetta discovered that Cleo's assessment on her and Deuce's compatibility was correct and she genuinely started to like him. When she made her move though, Deuce politely told her he already had a girlfriend and loved her very much. Touched by this, and aware of Cleo's paranoia, Operetta let go of her pursuit and offered to compose a song on Deuce's behalf in which he could express his feelings for Cleo.
In her 'Between Classes' diary, Rochelle Goyle wrote about her meeting Deuce when the two bumped into each other in the hallways of Monster High. Deuce was surprised to learn he couldn't turn gargoyles into stone and Rochelle fell in love with his beautiful green eyes. Though she knew he had a girlfriend and that she didn't stand a chance, she made sure to get to meet him in the days afterwards. One time even, she had Roux steal Deuce's casketball to lure him to her.
Deuce himself has expressed mild interest in Abbey Bominable, lowering his sunglasses to get a better look at her when she started her first day at Monster High in "Back-to-Ghoul". In "Terrifying Telephone", Frankie and Draculaura, and to a lesser extent Clawdeen and Cleo, thought Deuce was cheating on Cleo with Abbey. It turned out that Deuce was meeting with Abbey because she helped him create an ice rink in his backyard for a romantic surprise date with Cleo.
In the Monster High books, Melody Carver kissed Deuce to get back at Cleo for kissing Jackson Jekyll out of spite towards Melody. It is unknown if he really felt anything about this.
Deuce is also often consulted by his male friends when they have trouble with getting or keeping their relationships on track. Gil Webber talked with Deuce about his lies to Lagoona in "HooDoo You Like?", and Clawd Wolf has asked Deuce for help with Draculaura in "Hyde and Shriek" and his Sweet 1600 diary.
In the Generation 2 reboot in "Welcome to Monster High" when Cleo and Deuce first meet he accidentally petrified her. In a photo after Cleo is returned normal Deuce smiles guiltily at her while she is unimpressed. In the reboot Deuce is skinnier and shy and still attracted to Cleo. He helps her set up the first party and gives her credit though she doesn't thank him at all. Despite the coldness he asks her to join him in the photobooth in which she coldly complies. Cleo is indifferent until Deuce makes her laugh. During the battle with Moanica and the zomboys Deuce saves Cleo from a creeping Zomboy. She returns the favor when he is in danger and the two smile warmly at one another. At the end during Ari's big song, Deuce dances next to Cleo and they exchange interested looks.

Clawd Wolf
Robert Ri'chard as Clawd Wolf One of Clawdeen and Howleen’s older brothers, Clawd Wolf is pretty down to earth and straight to the point. He is on the football and casketball teams at Monster High. He dated Cleo de Nile before she went out with Deuce, and is now the devoted boyfriend of Draculaura.
He is a werewolf and a student at Monster High. He comes from a family with many children—among which Clawdia, Clawdeen, and Howleen—and is currently the oldest of the ones still living at home. Having grown up among so many people to consider, Clawd has developed an extensive set of leadership skills for which he is known and appreciated at school. He is the captain of the casketball team, the football team, and the SKRM team, as well as a respected member of the track team. Like most of his siblings, he has clear goals for his career after the school. He wants to go into sports medicine and though he has a busy schedule daily, he knows to prioritize getting the grades needed for that. In addition to school, family, and friends, Clawd spends a lot of his time in the company of Draculaura, who is both his girlfriend and his sister's BFF. The truth is, in the webisodes and TV specials of the cartoon, he does wear his 'Signature', School's Out' outfit; only not the hat, the pinpoint ball piercing replaced with a hooped earring ear-piercing on the same ear, the left one; no vest, and no scarf. These are replaced with a Monster High letter jacket with mainly black and with pink accents, and a slightly turned-up collar.
Age :17
Pet : Rockseena
BFFs : A pack leader can't play favorites.
Personality
Clawd is very friendly, outgoing and kind to the others, especially to his girlfriend, Draculaura. He's a loyal friend and a natural leader, acting as the captain of several sports teams. Though he certainly doesn´t always act that way, he does know manners and makes a point of other boys knowing them too. Clawd to Transform Bros Into Gentlemonsters
Unlike his sisters, he does not have a Brooklyn accent.
Appearance
Clawd is tall and physically fit, since he plays on the football, casketball and track teams. He has a piercing in his left ear, and has long sideburns and golden eyes like his sisters and furry.
Abilities
He has the ability of any other werewolf:
Enhanced Sense of Smell: Clawd has the regular werebeast sense of smell, especially werewolves in particular.
Enhanced Hearing: He, like all werewolves, has a superb extreme sense of hearing. It can lead to miles.
Lunar Extra-Power: He gets "lunar empowerment" from the full moon, and can be extra speedy and be even stronger.
Enhanced Strength: Clawd is shown to be extremely naturally strong, but the strength seems to enhance on a full moon. Like all werewolves, he is extremely strong, able to take on the biggest of giants at Monster High super easily.
Enhanced Speed: Clawd can be super fast as seen in "Beast Friends" when playing casketball against Simon Clops and many other times. Lunar influence increases this, however.
Rapid Hair Growth: Like all werebeasts with fur, and like Clawdeen and Howleen, he can get even furrier when he doesn't even want to. This might be assumed since Clawdeen and Howleen clearly have the ability.
Special Abilities
He is also a good lead in sports, especially casketball:
Casketball: He, unlike some other werewolves, is extremely good at casketball and can beat almost anyone at it if not everyone, which wouldn't have been a problem not to win in "Fear-A-Mid Power" if Draculaura did not in his arms during the game just before it was over.
Pet
Clawd's pet is a bulldog gargoyle named Rockseena, who Clawd claims is his "#1 rock solid fan"
Friends
Clawd's profile states that "a pack leader can't play favorites", and lists all of the Monster High students as friends. He states that he considers Draculaura to be a good friend, and later, begins dating her. The two soon become an item. He also was childhood friends with Romulus, the werewolf and they spent a lot of time together in Fright On!. He also is shown to be friends with Deuce Gorgon, hanging out with him on several occasions in the cartoon, and Heath Burns, who also plays on the track team with the two.
Romance
Clawd once dated Cleo de Nile, though she later dumped him and began dating Deuce Gorgon the next day. This resulted in a longtime rivalry between Cleo and Clawdeen, until Clawd confessed to his sister that it had been a mutual breakup, and that he and Cleo hadn't truly cared for one another. This relationship was actually the result of C.A. Cupid's arrows
